I woke up to sunlight shinning in my face. Then I soon remembered I was going to Sunnie's house today! Sunnie is my cousin, but more like a sister. We were always around each other. Today we were going to the lake!
You see last summer is when we found out we were mermaids. We were walking the beach one night, and found a cave. As we walked in it we saw something glowing, we were pulled to this thing like magic. We got closer not seeing the water, and we fell in. We instantly became mermaids, now anytime we touch natural water we turn into one. We like keeping it a secret, only family and close friends know. It's easy for my family to keep secrets because my brothers and Jacob are werewolves.
As we arrived at the lake Sunnie and I grew excited. We ran out of the car, jumped in the lake and enjoyed our amazing second life. I was surprised to see my best friend Angel there, we've been friends since k4 and I love her like a sister. She is a mermaid also. We spent the whole day there swimming and loving it.
