The Party

Kara's POV

Me and Barry walked down to the party hand in hand.There was a long table in the middle of the garden and all of grandma esther's dishes were layed out on the table.There were chairs located around the table and everyone was seated already.Barry was right,we were the last ones.I saw there was a grill near the table which I guess was done by Joe as an add on to grandma esther's dishes.Joe was seated at the head of the table.Caitlin was seated next to him with an empty seat next to her which I assumed to be Cisco's.Wally and Jesse were seated opposite of them.There were two chairs next to Cisco which I assumed were mine and Barry's.On the opposite side of Caitlin sat Iris and Eddie with Iris sitting next to Joe.There were two chairs opposite of us which were being occupied by Henry and Harry.We apologised for being late and sat down.We began to talk to Henry and Harry while waiting for Cisco to arrive.Soon,Cisco arrived through a breach that he created which linked him to the garden from where ever he was before."Hey everyone,I'm sorry for being late.I had to lock up the labs and there was this weird thing going on with the satellite that I had to stay back a bit longer to fix it." "It's okay Cisco.Come and take a seat.We were just waiting for you."Joe said as he motioned for Cisco to take a seat at his place.

"Thanks Joe."Cisco said as he walked over to his chair and sat at his chair.

Barry's POV

As soon as Cisco sat down at his chair,Joe stood up and clinked his teaspoon with his wine glass."Everyone,may I have your attention please."he said.

We all looked at him as he began to give his toast."I wanted to say that we've been through a rough year this year.New meta's,new threats,sorrow,victory and many others.But the main point is that I wanted to say that the only reason that we can all sit here today is because of friendship.Friendship is what brought us together in the first place.Then came love and you have no idea how happy I am to see that everyone is now happy.My only wish is that this happiness could last forever and our lives could go back to normal.But then again,since when were we normal?"he joked.We just laughed at his joke."Anyway,I hope that everyone can be happy for as long as we can and we will hold on to the ones we hold dear in our lives.Now let the feast begin and I hope that you'll enjoy yourselves tonight."he said as he sat down.

We ate and talked happily that night.Even Harry was in a good mood as he listened to my dad go on about the medicinal wonders on this Earth since Harry was more to the quantum side of science than the medical field.As such,it was no wonder that the two got along.Wally and Jesse were smiling,talking and laughing at each other's jokes.Cisco and Caitlin were discussing something that I couldn't pick up.The party went on until around midnight as almost everyone there was drunk.As you can see,Joe decided to make a few tweaks with Grandma Esther's recipe and this ended with everyone with a normal metabolism drunk or knocked out.The only ones who weren't drunk were Wally,Jesse,Kara and I.

"Alright guys,let's spilt up and get these guys back to bed.Wally,you and Jese can take Harry,Cisco and Caitlin back to S.T.A.R. Labs to rest while Kara and I will bring Henry,Joe,Iris and Eddie back into the house."I said and the two speedsters nodded their heads before running to S.T.A.R. Labs with everyone.I turned to Kara and said "Come on,let's get these guys to bed."and she nodded before picking two up with her super strength and walking into her house while I took Joe and led him into the house.After that,I ran back out and found Kara outside cleaning up the dishes."Hey Barry,I got these handled,could you bring Iris to her room please?"she asked me without even looking over."Sure Kara."I said as I sped Iris into the house and came out in a few seconds.I began to help Kara to bring in all the dishes into the house and we began to clean up without using our superspeed as I wanted to savour every single moment with Kara until Kara said that she was too tired to do the dishes anymore and that was when I finally gave in and decided to use my superspeed.After a few minutes,I was done.

When I was done,I turned around to see Kara standing at the window staring out into the darkness.I walked behind Kara and I quietly snaked my arms behind her."Hey Kara,what are you

looking at?"I asked her.

Kara's POV

While Barry was cleaning up the last of the dishes,I walked to the living room and gazed out the window.All that I could see was peacefulness.This city was peaceful because of Barry.

Suddenly,I felt arms snake around my waist."Hey Kara,what are you looking at?"he asked me.

"Nothing.It's just that your city is so peaceful.No aliens,no threats."I told him truthfully.He just stood by me as he wrapped his arms around me as I leaned against him.We just stood there for a while just gazing out and soon it began to snow."Barry,look it's snowing."I told him."Yeah it is."was all he said before we returned back into our comfortable silence.

"Hey Kara,want to sit down?"Barry asked as he motioned for the couch.

"Yeah sure."was all that I said as he led me to sit on the couch.

"Barry,we need to talk."I told him.

"About?"he asked me

"Well,how about the fact that we live on separate earths and there is no way that Wally can protect Central City all the time.Central City needs the flash.And I can't leave my earth.I mean National City needs Supergirl.So what are we going to do?"I asked him.Barry just kissed me and I kissed back passionately.After a few minutes,we broke apart.

"Kara,I don't care that we live on separate earths.I want to make this work and I will make this work as long as you want it too."he told me."Barry,of course I want this to work."I told him.

"Well,I was thinking and I may have an idea.I was thinking that maybe I could stay here in the morning and go to your Earth at night.Then we could exchange living places every weekend like for instance,we could stay at your Earth for one weekend then we could switch to stay at my Earth the next."he told me and the more I thought about it,the more I knew it would work.

"You know Barry,that could actually work."I said

"Of course it would."he told me and I let out a yawn.

"Someone's tired.."he said as he picked me up bridal style.I let a small yelp before I shouted"Barry Allen,where are you taking me?Put me down now."

"Relx,I'm taking you to my room."he told me as he began to walk up the stairs.

"Well,don't drop me."I said jokingly.

"Never."he replied.

As we got into his room,I said "Well,I'm going to take shower now." But as I said that I realised that Barry was also planning to go to the bathroom.

"Oh..sorry Kara.You go first."he said

"You know what,let's compromise."I said as I looked at him with that look on my face.

"You want to...OH...that."he said while he began to blush.

"Hey,we're already dating."I said before I began to walk to the bathroom and I said"You coming?"

After being in the washroom for a while,Barry and I emerged out of the bathroom ready for bed."Now that was a good shower.We should do that more often."Barry said and I just laughed.

We then lied down on his bed and I said "Goodnight Barry." before I began to fall asleep.But as I began to fall asleep,I could feel Barry snake his arms around me before whispering

"Goodnight Kara.Sweet dreams my little angel."

Here is chapter 4.I apologize once again for not posting a chapter because I've been working on my other book that I have mentioned will be published around early of 2018.
I will try to publish the next chapter as soon as possible.
