At 6:00 AM Saturday, we all grabbed our stuff, loaded up the car, got coffee, and drove.
I did the math and found that for the 6 hour drive, each of us would drive 1 hour and 30 minutes for all of us to drive equally as long.
The guys were also heading home to St. Louis for thanksgiving, but left an hour later than us, so that's happening.
Clair didn't want to go home for thanksgiving, but Sam somehow convinced her to. She was also angry that my family was weird and celebrated on Saturday. I honestly couldn't care less if her and her parents came back to our house early.
But that's besides the point. We were on the interstate, having a good time, jamming to some tunes, all that jazz.
Driver got to choose the music, so at the beginning when Clair drove, we listening to some Hamilton and this alternative screamo stuff, Alanna liked a little bit of everything, Cassidy chose some oldies, and, just to be annoying, half of my turn was spent listening to parodies and memes, and the other half was alternative rock.
I was happy to be home. And then my brother arrived.
