prologue

There is a boy who - unlike most people - would much rather play games than socially interact. As we all know, humans are social creatures and need to be able to interact with others. However, this boy doesn't seem to need to come in contact with other humans for weeks. He has himself and his games and that seems to be enough for him.

Now, there is a girl that seems quite similar to him, however she enjoys socializing just as much as the next person. Well, she did. Up until the age of 14, this girl loved speaking to other people. But some people can take advantage of someone else. Some people can put others down with the snap of their fingers. And well, some people did. After what horrible events had happened, she vowed to never let anyone in her life ever get so close to her just as they did. She prefers to read books rather than do anything else. Books were her safe haven - they are her safe haven. And to her, books are all that she needs.

With these two people, they believe that they have all that they need already in their grasp. They believe that they don't need to interact with others.
