I brushed my teeth and put a little bit of lispstick. I decided to put on my glasses. I looked in the mirror and I actually looked decent with the glasses on. I sprayed the perfume the girl gave me on my arms and chest. I double checked myself and I was done. I walked down the halls and went downstairs to the meeting area. I saw everyone line up tallest to littlest. I looked at the man and he looked really handsome. "thank you" He said looking at me. *Oh no did I think out loud* (* means thoughts so don't get confused). I felt really embarrassed. He looks at all of us and he says "I've chosen my child" The handsome man said. Everyone started whispering and talking about Hannalore the perfect 13 year old. I was 15 so I was the one who been here the longest and never got adopted.
"I need this beautiful Bambina right here" The man said. Everyone gasped and looked at me. I looked surprised and shocked. "Oh my LANTA" I said and hugged him. "Alright everyone its time to wish Angie goodbye. I got a few hugs and kisses on the cheek. I went upstairs to go pack my things which took 5 minutes. I walked back downstairs and I was filled with estatic. "Are you ready gattina" he said with a playful smile. "Yes sir" I said not really sure what to call him. "Just call me dad you dont have to call me sir, bambina" He said. "Bambina"? I said really confused because he was speaking another language. He chuckled .I walked out of the orpahnage and felt fresh air hit me like a baseball bat. My hair went everywhere. Mr.Dad saw and he grabbed my hair and put it into a bun. He opened the door for me which was a very gentleman move. "Thank you" I said and got in. "il Vostro benvenuto Gattina". He walked around the car and got in the drivers seat. He turned the car keys and twisted them and started the engine. I rested my head on the door and just watch the trees and scenery go bye. A few minutes later I saw street lights and cars. I saw a man proposing to a women. "Dad stop the car I need to see this" I said and he pulled over. I watched through the window and she said yes. "Yay" I said and smiled. He saw me smiling and he smiled. He started driving towards the woods. About 30 minutes of driving in the woods I see a huge house in the middle. He stopped the car in the driveway. He got out and he opened the door for me and carried me inside. He sat me down on the couch and sat next to me. "Gattina, Is it okay if I ask you a couple of questions" He asked and I nodded getting scared. "OK where is your sister". I felt a tear roll down my cheek just thinking about her. He wipped it away and put me in his lap. "She she is not with us anymore" I said hoping he'll get the hint. "Oh baby im so sorry I didnt know" He said pulling me into a hug. I didnt hug back though.
