Shivaay woke up and squinted his eyes to guess it must still be midnight and found something warm against him...

Shivaay looked sideways to find that he was holding Annika in sleep.

How did she got here...?

Why was she sleeping beside me..?

He must have not let her go in sleep when she must have come to wake him up for something because he knew she's not the type of girl to sleep with a stranger.

Shivaay always mostly slept in his room with Rudra and Om. And Rudra is always cuddling with him. He must have subconsciously pulled her in his sleep thinking of Rudra.

Shivaay caressed the strands of her hair, disturbing her peaceful sleep.

She really was beautiful....

Wait.....

What am I thinking..?

What am I doing....?

Sleeping beside a girl when he is engaged to someone.

When Shivaay tried to move away, she held him tightly, mumbling something about chutki. Shivaay sighed looking at her frown lines.

Shivaay then just gave up not wanting to trouble her more and laid beside her while she clutched his shirt tightly. After few seconds she moved closely to him and hugged him.

Ah... Fire raced through him wherever she touched him..

What's going on...?

Shivaay could see her so close with the way she's hugging him in sleep. She then nuzzled his neck, her hand firmly against his back. Her fingers tickling his back.

Shivaay put his hand around her waist and pulled her even closer, allowing himself a moment of weakness.

She smelled of jasmine and Shivaay let everything go and closed his eyes in peace.

Just like that day, he hugged her to calm down, nuzzling against her....

But what Shivaay could not understand was that why she was letting him do whatever he wanted.?

That day when he kissed thinking it's Tia....

That day when he teased her mercilessly to make her blush...

That day when he hugged her to calm down....

Today too when he pulled her in sleep why didn't she wake him up..?

She let him sleep without protesting.

Why..?

Why are you letting me do whatever I want, Annika..?

With those thoughts Shivaay drifted off to sleep and woke up in morning earlier like he usually did and got up before her since she was a late riser.

Shivaay freshened up and made a coffee to drink.

Shivaay has to go to work, so before that, he cooked her breakfast as a silent thank you and put a note saying that he's leaving and moved out of the house, knowing it's automatic lock and it can be closed safely.

Shivaay has to go to his office to take a shower and change his dress since there was a room for him if he stayed overnight and didn't have time to go home.

Shivaay has to stay away from Annika. Something's stirring inside him whenever he was with her and this was not right..

Shivaay cannot allow weakness like this. He cannot get confused.
