"Ranveer, what have you done?"

Priyanka looked at Ranveer, not raising her voice, since they were in a cafe she asked him to meet with her.

"I didn't do anything."

"So, you're telling me that you have nothing to do with this media scandal?"

"Priyanka.."

"Tell me, Ranveer."

"It was my friend Abay, Priyanka. I swear I didn't know myself that he leaked the information to media like that."

"Why would your friend drag Shivaay bhaiyaa's name like that unless you share the same intention.?"

"What did you expect my friend to do..?"

Ranveer raised his voice but quieted down seeing some customers looking at them.

"You had decided to cut ties off with me and you weren't attending any of my calls or responding to any of my texts. I heard that Shivaay arranged a marriage meeting for you. You didn't tell me anything about that.. I was just drunk and blabbered my problems with him and Abay just did it wanting to hurt Shivaay in return. But I soon told him to stop the rumors in media the very next minute I knew what he had done."

"Are you stupid, Ranveer..? Do you think I will agree to marry anyone like that.?"

"But you always listen to your brother and I thought Shivaay arranged you a marriage meeting and you cannot refuse him."

"How many times I told you, Ranveer? Shivaay bhaiyaa never forces me to anything. In fact it was my dad who arranged it and Shivaay bhaiyaa was the one who cancelled it just because I asked him to. Do you know how much problems he went through for that.? He is in hospital now."

"I am sorry, Priyanka but what did I do.? I have nothing to do with this."

"No.. You did nothing but Shivaay bhaiyaa will have even more bad impression of you. He will think you're deliberately trying to pick a fight with him, trying to ruin his name."

"I can even go and explain that it was not me."

"But you have too much pride to do that, Ranveer. I know you."

Ranveer kept silent and didn't know what to do. It felt like everything's slipping away from his hands. He hated Oberois but he loved Priyanka.

She's silent and calm, even timid sometimes but when it comes to her family, she is rather strong and even aggressive, protecting her family.

Ranveer had seen siblings who gets along well, siblings who fight for properties, he had even seen brothers and sisters killing each other in some cases but he had never seen loyalty and love like this.

He admired her every traits, even this blind love for her family.

"It's getting nowhere, Ranveer. I don't think Shivaay bhaiyaa is going to approve our relationship. I don't know what to do anymore."

Priyanka tried to get up but Ranveer grabbed her hands from across the table. He entwined her fingers with his on the table and stared straight at her eyes.

"I love you, Priyanka. Nothing will change this. No matter how long I had to wait, I will wait for you."

With that Ranveer got up and left not having the courage to see her going away from him once again.

Ranveer looked up at the sky,

God.. Mom and Dad...

Whatever I did in my past, whatever punishment you want to give, let me have it but please...
