ASHLEY POV
"ASHLEY GET YOUR ASS IN HERE!" I came home to ny mom yelling my name.Embarrassing! I dropped my can of pain on.the ground and ran inside the house. Right when i cam in i saw all of my boxes and luggage i had put in my room, layingall over the liveing room floor. "What the fuck is this ,Ashley?" My mom yelled. I started to stutter again.
"M-mom I s-swear i put a-all o-o-of this i-in my room. P-please dobt yell." I said in a shy voice.
Then i heard some footsteps come behind me and stop. Ofcourse, it was the boy who had helped me. When I looked back at him his eyes got wide and he almost seemed like he had an idea about what was going on.
"Clean this fucking up!" She kept yelling. I couldn't imagine how awkward this would of been fir him, standing behind me while my mom yelled at me. Perfect way to make a boy like you. I only nodded and walked to get my boxes. "I'm going to call Thomas and tell him to come home thrn im going tothe store, this better all be cleaned up by the time i get back"
"Fat chance" i mumbled. She heard it and rolled her eyes at me. I had tons of boxes full of clothes and hair stuff. It just doesn't seem fair.
She pulled out of the driveway and left. I gave a weak smile to the boy. He probably hates me because of my mom now.. "Well, i better start so i don't get into trouble for something i didnt do again." I said awkwardly.
He shot me a thoughtful look and opened his mouth to same something, but he soon closed it like he thought i wouldn't be able to handle it.
I bent down and started to picck up clothes and luggage. I had 2 boxes in my hand when i almost dropped them. He came to the rescue, again.
"T-thank you." I said shyly. I looked down at the floor and walked up the stairs to my room before he could say anything. I sat them down and came back downstairs. My head was still to the floor. Then i felt a hand on my chin.
The hand pulled my chin up to meet the boy's eyes. "You don't have to be shy about it. I know it wasn't you." He said in a husky voice. I smiled.
"How do you know?" I asked. He got a smile on his face. "Its a secret. Anyways, i never caught your name." I gave a small laugh. He totally just changed the subject.
"Ashley, and what's yours?" I asked.
He smiled at me with a kind yet irresistible smile. It made me blush more. My cheeks felt hot.
"I'm Jake."
I went grab another box saying,"well, i better get this done." He picked up another box next to him and walked upstairs with me.
After 1 hour we finally got all the boxes an luggage in my room. It was getting late and i was actually worrying about my mom. Why? We went back out and got the paint we were bringing from the store.
"Thank you." I said. This time i wasn't shy. He smiled and then looked at my phone that was siting on our dark brown couch. "Can i have your number?" I started to smile a lot more than i have smiled in a while.
"Ya" its 995-9328" he put the contact in his phone while i told him. He smiled a wide smile at me and said,"you'll be expecting a call." I giggled and nodded.
