"Hey Barriss," Ahsoka greeted her. "Are you going to the padawan pool party tonight?"

"Yeah, right after I've done my patrol of Alderaan," Barriss responded.

"Okay, text me when you're done and we'll meet at our quarters and go together."

"Okay, see you later."

Echo pushed a pair of binoculars up to the eye shade of his helmet.

"Yup, we've covered all ground," he said.

"What about the lakeside?" Asked Fives.

"Let's do it," said Barriss. "You can never be too sure."

Barriss and the clones stopped at the base of a large hill.

"You two stay here and I'll go up and check," Barriss said. "I won't be long, I have a pool party to get to."

Barriss hiked up to the top with no big complications. A medium sized hole was at the top that led inside the hill. As the jedi turned around to go back down the hill, her boot slipped and she plummeted down the hole. Inside, there was a small circular cave with some bare stone and then water that got deeper and deeper until it went down so far deep it linked up to the lake. She felt connected with it for a split second. Her heart sang. She shook her head and force-jumped out of the cavern. Her legs felt like they were on fire for the whole ride home.

"You're finally back," Ahsoka said as Barriss walked into their quarters. Ahsoka was sitting cross-legged on her bed wearing a black bikini. "Where've you been? We're late!"

"Sorry," Barriss answered, putting on her own white bikini. "Let's go."

As soon as the girls got to the pool party location, their padawan friends shoved drinks into their hands and dragged them over to where they were all sitting. Some padawans were playing volleyball, some were in the pool, some were flirting with other padawans, and some were even messing around with silly string. The music pounded in their heads, but it was an amazing time.

"Ooh, Barriss, the DJ is staring at you!" Someone said. Barriss turned around and the DJ winked at her. She was shoved towards his pedestal. She nervously took a sip of her drink. He's super cute. She thought, blushing. The DJ was a human who looked about 18 years old. He had blonde hair, green eyes, and a white smile. He finally noticed her awkwardly dancing so close to his setup.

"Hey girl," he said, real cool. "Wanna get something to eat with me?"

"Um, yeah, sure, totally, that would be totally great!" She nervously stammered.

They walked to the food bar in silence, and sat down next to each other on two stools. Barriss tucked some of her short hair behind her ear and took a bite of her hot dog. He gently took her hand.

"I'm Zach, by the way," Zach said.

"I'm Barriss," she peeped.

"So, you're a mirialan?"

"Yeah."

"Cool, I have a thing for alien species," he said leaning in closer. She leaned in and focused her gaze on his green eyes. Their lips touched, and Barriss heard her friends yelling at Ahsoka, telling her to sing a song. Ahsoka got up on the pedestal and started singing Problem. He instantly forgot about Barriss and whirled around to see Ahsoka.
