KIANS POV-

"Dude, you needa come to this party tonight. Andreas gonna be there"Jc said, trying to persuade me. We turned into the next isle.
"Andrea and I are over. I'm over her. Besides, don't we have band practice tonight?" I shook my head. Jc and I were in a local cvs, looking for some aspirin for Jc's hungover ass. "No, band practice is tomorrow night. Anyway, we can find you a new girlfriend. It's been like a year since you've been in a relationship Kian." I scoffed, "Actually it's been 10 months, and why are you trying so hard to find me a girlfriend?" I looked at him, eyebrows narrowed. I searched up the rack for an aspirin bottle. "I can tell that you're not happy. You're usually happier when you're in a relationship" Jc continued as I had found the bottle and was now walking to the cashier. "That's not true. But, I guess one party couldn't hurt?" I smirked.

LEILAS POV

I had just finished packing all of my belongings. It was a Saturday, and my mom and brother and I were all getting out of this dump called Massachusetts. We were traveling pretty far. I mean, we were moving to San Clemente.  "Leila, are you almost done?" My mom called up to me. I looked around the empty room I had spent 18 years in. I smiled at the memories, grabbed my 3 bags and walked out. "I'm ready."

KIANS POV-

I had just finished combing through my hair, and buttoning up my shirt. "Kian are you ready?" Jc yelled up to me. "Yea hold on." I yelled back. I looked at my whole outfit once more, and left my room.

When we got to the party, Jc immediately went to the bar, ditching me. Thankfully I had seen Sam right around the corner talking to Ricky and Jenn. I made my way over, making sure not to bump into any drunk kids. "Hey guys." I smiled. "Kian! How's it going?" Jenn tried to make conversation even though it was awkward because she was the best friend to my ex girlfriend. However, Jenn was really nice. Definitely not my type, but she was nice. "I'm doing well, enjoying the single life." Ricky nodded, "so, you don't care that Andreas making out with three guys over there?" Ricky pointed behinds me. "Ricky!" Sam's eyes widened. I turned and looked back, seeing Andrea straddling two boys and making out with the third. Was I over Andrea? I mean, was I really? I turned and looked back at my three friends. "Uh, I don-don't care." I was fighting back tears and my throat stung. "Kian I" Ricky started. "It's okay Ricky. Guys remember band practice tomorrow." I gave a fake smile and walked out. I went over the the edge of the sidewalk and sat with my head buried in my arms.
