In the spur of the moment I contemplated taking it back, his hurt expression reminded me of my kid self, but words are a funny thing. You can't take them back, you can only add to them. He was lucky I didn't pin him again the wall and beat the shit out of him, but he was already so frail..

"I uh.. sorry to be an inconvenience," he mumbled it quietly, his bangs covered his eyes and his lips trembled lightly. "Can- can I at least know your name?"  I stopped. I didn't want his pity, "No." With that I walked to class, feeling the weight on my shoulders increase. I made it to the classroom, and took an empty seat by the window.

After minutes of entering the classroom the Bell rang, and in trudged Little Cameron. His face was flushed and he kept his eyes on his feet. The entire classroom went silent and then whispers were heard.
He fiddled with his fingers as the teacher lectured him on being late. His face was as bright as his hair, and he bit his lip.

"Okay ma'am it's the first day, lay off a little, will you?" It came from my lips before I even realized what I was saying. She turned her gaze to me, but instead of lecturing me, her face held surprise. "Are- are you from Australia?" Her question was straight to the point.

I rolled my eyes, "No, I'm from Korea. Are you dumb? It's pretty obvious that I'm not from here." She pursed her lips and nodded. "Take a seat Cameron, beside the Australian with a mouth," she pointed her pen over at me, and he glanced up, a frightened look on his face. "O-okay..." he walked towards me quietly and sat down.

"Okay so now we're going to take roll call!" The teacher grabbed a clip board from her desk and began calling names. A small panic arose in my chest before I shoved it down. Let him know.

"Wyatt Montgomery?" I grunted before replying. "Yeah yeah, I'm here." Cameron's body went completely stiff, and before I knew it, his body was shaking like a leaf durning a wind storm. I heard a nearly silent sniffle. He was crying?

He stood up and slammed his hands on his desk out of no where, and the entire room jumped at the sudden sound. Before I knew it he was on the floor, bowing while crying and mumbling apologies. My eyes were wide, and I didn't know what to do.

"Cameron! Wyatt! Get out of my room and settle this elsewhere!"
