Chapter 2

Me and my sisters  continued on our daily work of creating ,measuring and cutting the threads of fate . We were very much busy since we were cramming. Why ,you ask? Well it's because Zeus is coming here by 6 this evening which is about an hour from now. 

Atropos,  the one whom cuts the threads of fate, is cleaning the house since there are no people whom should be dying today.

Later on, Lachesis and I were finished and we baked the cake that would be served as dessert when they arrived.

I went up the stairs and took a shower. Just then , I heard the bathroom door creak open and I screamed in surprise.

I then heard the voice I never wanted to hear. I covered my body when I heard him say,"Jesus,stop the screaming will you and lock the door!" 

I heard him shuffle out of the bathroom .I sighed and finished my bath. When I was finished, I realized that I didnt bring my clothes with me inside the washroom. Oh well, I can do magic anyways . 

Just as I was about to raise my hand and use my power,I heard Atropos say,

Clotho, we've already discussed this. No use of  power inside the house when not neccessary !

I sighed .I placed my hand onto my side and wrapped myself with a towel. I crept out of the bathroom but  was greeted  by  Thelo ,mouth open,staring at me . He was sitting beside the bathroom door .

I scrambled away and my butt landed flat on the floor with only a towel wrapped around me. His  eyes shifted lower and raked all over my body until it stopped just a tiny tad bit above the ground and heard him gulp.

I looked downbelow me and my eyes widened,realizing that my thighs were parted and I haveworn no underwear below. Blushing furiously , I closed my thighs and glared at him. He continued to stare at that same place until heshook his head.

He stood up and said,"Well,what a sight that was but...I  gotta go ."

He  turned around and entered the washroom leaving me wondering where his cocky,arrogant and pervertic attitude from yesterday went.

I stared at him ridiculed but shook my head.

What's wrong with you Clotho? Shouldnt you be happy about this?  Now,he wont bother you!But...where is he going? 

I wondered about that but I remembered that Zeus and Hera are coming to meet us today so I changed my clothes and went downstairs.

When the King and Queen of Olympus arrived, the whole house had been brighter ,I guess.

They walked ,gracefully inside our small threshold . We ,being the ones known to be of higherstanding than them,sat on our chairs . I at the back of my spinwheel and Lachesis by the right and Atropos by the middle. We seldom change seats but today ,this is what wehave decided.

We saw Zeus grin at us andwe all secretly rolled our eyes along with Hera whom was ready to kill him.  

What do you think ,sisters? Should we give Hera a gift for accompanying her dear husband and saving us a lot of pervertic comments? Atropos asked.

I smiled . I guess that would be a nice thank you gift.I responded.

I agree. Lachesis added.

All of us couldnt help but smile at the things we were planning on doing . Yes, we control fate but sometimes, especially with the gods,we can somehow alter certain events or add things as a gift. This power of ours can only be used once a year and so we have decided to give it to Hera. Zeus has been.... too much of a playboy lately and his wife is hurting too much so we've now decided to somehow fix their relationship.
