Howdy, Y'all!
As a Hispanic, I sometimes find Hispanic stereotypes kinda funny. Same thing goes for Texans. I was raised in College Station, Texas. A fairly small city.
Now, Hispanic stereotypes... can be a bit silly. Like; parties all day and night, bright, colorful piñatas, mariachis singing and playing instruments like the trumpets or those humongous guitars. But from my visits to Mexico. Poor families struggling to survive, people immigrating to here to find a better life like my mother, and people not getting enough food to survive. Harsh. I know. But at least people are helping them and taking good care of them. Like my aunts and mother are taking good care of my grandmother.
As for Texan stereotypes? Cowboys, rodeos, bulls, oil, Texas rangers, the list goes on and on. Honestly, some of those are true. I've never been to a rodeo or rode a real bull*, but I do know there are a lot of rodeos around Texas. And Texas rangers are another thing. Back then, Native Americans attacked locals for taking their land. A band of men teamed up against theses natives. They were called the Texan rangers. Nowadays they're making the drunk pay, catching those responsible for illegally hunting, and keeping the Lone Star State safe.
What stereotypes can you come up with?
