Soulmate tattoo (Jerrie story)

Chapter 10

Perrie runs up to her room and falls onto her bed. She lays on her back and stares up at the ceiling. She tries to process everything that just happened and think about what she should do with Zayn. All she wanted right now was a person to talk to. A best friend to talk to. Zayn was not only her boyfriend but her best friend, she told him everything like he was her own personal diary and she needed that right now.
She thinks should she or should she not stay with him? He has Emma's tattoo so it would never really work.

   Perrie finally concludes that it's time say goodbye to Zayn. She leans over and grabs her phone from the nightstand, she finds  Zayn's name and start texting him.

Zayn we need to talk. Come over- Perrie.

She throws her phone on her bed and go downstairs to get something to eat. While she's going through the fridge the door bell rings, her head lifts up. She closes the fridge and walks to the door. To her surprise it was Zayn. That was quick, she thought to herself. She slowly opens the door just enough to let him in. She made sure not to make eye contact with him, because if she did she knew she'd break down.           

Zayn goes in for a hug but Perrie quickly rejects by nodding her head. They walk into the living room and sit down on the couch to have this dreaded conversation. He sits down and takes a deep breath knowing how hard this was going to be.

Zayn= "Perrie I...."

Perrie = "Zayn don't bother, there's nothing to say. You're soulmate's
with Emma, my best friend. The hard part is there's nothing I could do, because she already fell for you."

    You could see a look of confusion on Zayn's face when Perrie said that. He was probably thinking it's way too soon for her to feel that way, but on the other hand Perrie saw it in his face that he's falling for Emma too. You could see a look of hurt and betrayal on Perrie's face when she looked at him. All he could say was,

Zayn= "Wait... She didn't fall for me.. That's not possible... She was marked less than a week ago."

Perrie =  "Come on Zayn you know how it works, you get the tattoo and once you meet your soulmate you have a automatic connection to them. Tell me you don't have a little bit of feelings for her?"

Zayn= "Well I guess, I don't really know. I mean I've never really thought about it because I've been so worried about you. The way you reacted worried me, so I never had time to process that she's my soulmate.

Perrie looked up at him speechless, she didn't know what to say. He really is the best guy ever, he still cared about her even after she got the tattoo. She thought once you get the tattoo that's it you lose all emotional connection to anyone that is not your soulmate. You also stop caring about everyone else that isn't that person, but she was wrong because he still cared.

Perrie = I'm so screwed. What do I do? I still love him, how is this possible? I should hate him so much, but all I could think about is how amazing he's treating me. He didn't think about Emma because he was so concerned with how I reacted to the news. He's such a great guy. No Perrie. Stop thinking like this, you guys are over. He's meant to be with Emma, she's his soulmate. But what if we just run away together, no one would find us and we could be together for the rest of our lives. I mean why not? You know he loves me, we have been together for over three years. No you know that's not possible it's illegal you could get arrested. But I can't stop every time I look at him I remember all the great times we spent together and how he treated me like a princess.  OMG! Stop talking to yourself he's looking at you crazy.

Perrie stopped her fight with herself and looked up at Zayn with tears in her eyes. She saw his frown on his face, she took a deep breath and started to speak.

Perrie = "I.. I.. I.. I still love you, and I don't want to break up. This is not fair. A tattoo can't tell me who I can and can't be with. They can't control my feelings."
