Kyra Benson
she's not a girl, but a storm with skin....
I could have left him right there, i could have made a clean escape and be away from the cops in no time, i could have......
a thousand ways run through my head. but without thinking, something i never did, i grabbed his hand and pulled it along. i can't seem to find the right words or feelings that can explain my doing, but i did it any way.
i pierce through the wind like a bullet out of a barrel, my skin never leaving his. the blood pounds in my body like a bass drum, not because i was being chased by cops, but because a kiss upon my lips was burning itself into my soul.
"Run faster" i scream to him as i kick my self into gear. he catches up to my speed sooner than i expect him to.
i knew exactly where i was headed, this was my neighbourhood and you play by my rules. as swift as lighting i made the turn towards the building that looked as if it was unhabitual, ever since world war 2. a one way alley, it was.
"dead end!" he yells, as he tries to resist going in. but i pull against him
"i know where im going! now c'mon" i explained. i could feel his heart beat in my touch, just like i could hear it when his lips pressed against mine.
trust, is having faith in something or believing something, he believed me. i could make anyone believe me, that's the reason i was so great at what i did. but knowing "he" trusted me made me feel protective towards him. made me want to come up to his expectations, but a part of me was there, to pull me down every time i was flying. something that knocked me back to reality, saying he's juts like the others.
i spot the old window, slabs of wood blocking the entrance, their uneven placement was big enough for an average person to squeeze through.
"get in" i yell at him, causing his eyes to look for an answer. i point at the window and he figures it out. placing his hands on the window extension he pulls his body up, a knee supporting his weight as he slips through the space.
"they're here" i hear a voice say as i mimic his actions and slide my way in.
"what is th- " he said a little too loud. he is punished against the wall at once, right beside the window frame and in to the darkness, my hand slapped on his mouth, resisting him to speak. my sight is set on the two bodies that roam around, out in the alley.
"i swear i jus-" one of them says. "well, lets keep looking"
the one who juts spoke exits but his partner is still there, curiosity getting the Best of him, but in the end he gives up and turns around, as well. a sigh of relief, that never came out of my mouth, was on my hand.
i rest my eye lids for a second before lifting, both, my hand and lids. i stare at his face for what seemed like hours but was just a mater of seconds, taking in every little detail that stuck to his face, his features strong and beautiful. but the most but the thing that thunder struck me was the intense shade his eyes held, a mixture of chocolate and pure crystal, they shimmered like the ancient Chinese pond of purity, the edge his orbs had was beyond ordinary. a slight wave of brown covered his eyes.
