"OMG! OMG! I am so excited for this trip! What clothes should I wear? I can't choose!" Charlotte squealed as we helped her pack her bags for the school camp in Woodland Fields. It was 7 o'clock in the morning and Helen and I went to Charlotte's house very early just to assist her with packing. She takes 3 hours to prepare her clothes!

"How about this pink coat?" I suggested, " It will be cold in the bus and I think it will look perfect with your dress."

"Guys, can we take a break first?" said Helen, "We have been here for an hour and I am starting to get hungry."

"But you're always getting peckish, Helen!" I giggled, "And don't even think about eating the sandwich Mrs. Hansen made for you. No doubt, you'll also get hungry on the trip!"

"Fine! I won't eat the sandwich mom prepared for me. Where can I get a snack then?"

"You could go ask my mother for an apple," replied Charlotte, "I saw her slicing one a while ago."

"Lucky me!" Helen exclaimed, "Thanks mate!"

Half an hour later, Helen and I checked our stuff to see if we forget something or not. We just finished helping Charlotte with packing and she was downstairs eating breakfast.

"I wonder how our trip will go." I muttered to myself as I looked down the window.

"Yup," Helen sighed, "As long Kristel doesn't pester us, I'll jump in joy!"

I smiled and we both laughed. Helen Hansen is such a great friend.

A loud honk of a car made us stopped laughing. Charlotte was outside her bedroom door, carrying her rolling suitcase.

"Let's hurry!" she cried, "My father is outside waiting. Dad is going to give us a ride to school!"

"Sheesh! We are going to school already?" Helen said as she reached for her backpack.

"Come on, guys. Let's go!"

Charlotte's mom, Mrs. Campbell was waiting for her daughter at the door. Charlotte kissed her at the cheek while Helen and I thanked Mrs. Campbell for having us in.

"Are you ready to go, girls?" Mr. Campbell asked as the three of us got in the vehicle.

"Yes, dad!" Charlotte answered, "You can start the car now."

We got to school in no time flat. As we arrived, Charlotte, Helen and I thanked Mr. Campbell for the free transportation. Charlotte hugged her dad and Mr. Campbell got our other bags out of their car trunk.

The three of us rushed towards the school gate. Once we were inside the school campus, I checked the school's bulletin board to see which of the two buses are we going to ride in. Helen and Charlotte would take a trip in the first one while I would ride in the second bus.

I hopped in the bus and sat beside this girl with long red hair and brown eyes. All that I know about her is that her name is Vivian Sherman and I think she is very shy. She didn't say a word when I sat on the seat beside her.

Minutes before our trip began, a teacher started passing the attendance sheet around the bus. After I signed, I saw two names that made me gasped in shock: Kristel Anderson and Hanah Brown.

Kristel and Hanah are friends and two of the meanest girls in our school. They always pick on people like me even though I have not done anything bad to them.

The bus soon started and we were now starting our trip to Woodland Fields.
