The streets || Kim Taehyung ||

Prologue

{Taehyung's P.O.V}

"When can we go to your house, Cameron?"

"Never."

I groaned

"Why not?"

"Stop whining, what are you, 4? And I said no, so stop asking."

"Why are you such an ass?" I asked her

She just growled at me and I giggled.

I know we are only young and I shouldn't really know what love is, I fell so happy around Cameron, she makes my day every time I see her.

Even thought she acts so cold and we tease each other all the time, I still care about and I know she cares about me too.

We had been walking for so long and I was confused to where we were going.

"Hey Cameron, how long till we are there?"

We turned into a dark alley and I became scared.

"We are here."

I looked at Cameron and she didn't look at me, she kept her head down.

"I'm sorry."

Was all she said before I was hit in the head with a metal pole and blacked out.

I woke up and heard harsh voices.

"I got you the rich kid now give me the money!"

It sounded like Cameron, so I pretended to be asleep and listen to the rest of the conversation.

"Cameron don't yell at me, I could ruin you even more."

"Dude you know I need the money, I barely have enough money for food, and you know I don't have a home, so come on pay up."

"Look kid, I don't have any money to pay you right now so you have to wait till we get the ransom money."

What is happening I'm so confused.

"You better hurry up, cause I'm running low right now and I need somethings to survive, and I need money to pay for those things, so you better fucking hurry up, or I'm practically dead."

"Alright but you might have to wait a few days."
The guy talking to Cameron sound like he was in his 20's

"Agh." I heard Cameron sigh

"I'm going to see if he is awake." She said

The blindfold that was restricting my vision was lifted. I immediately saw Cameron's face and she looked so guilty. I notice that she wasn't wearing a hoodie for once, but once I saw her arms I knew why she wore them.

Scars trailed down her arms to her wrist. They looked like someone had hurt her on purpose. They looked fatal, but here she was standing in front of me. How is she alive with something like that.

I was to focused on her arms that I was completely taken back when she slapped me across the face. Tears escaping my eyes and I stared at her with fear.

"WHAT DID YOU HEAR?!" She yelled making me jump. She was so harsh, it didn't seem like it was really her.

"N-n-nothing." I stuttered.

"Liar." She said as she slapped me once again.

"What did you hear?" She asked again

"That you are going to get ransom money from my parents."

"I'm surprised that you know what we are talking about, you seem pretty dumb when I'm around you." She snickered.

All i felt was pain with her words, I trusted her. Why would she do this? Cameron what did I do?

She had turn her back to me, looked over her shoulder and said

"The streets taught me everything thing I know. The streets are where I belong, but if you get involved with my business, nothing good will ever happen."

Tears ran down my cheek as I watched her take a few steps away from me.

"You've finally been to my home, Taehyung. Never come back."

That was the last thing she said and walked away.
