**Michaels POV**
I have liked... Well loved Emery forever. She is so perfect... She cares about everyone... Her hair is so soft... Her eyes are a deep shade of the prettiest brown. I wish she liked me back. I looked over at her sitting in my car nodding to Paramore and couldn't help but smile. When we walked up to school, there was a huge mob screaming and laughing... Emery and I slid through and saw what they were screaming about.
**Emerys POV**
Michael and I saw a new kid on the ground. He had dirty blond hair that swept over the left side of his face. His eyes were a deep shade of blue and a small nose. He was tall. Maybe about 6 foot. He was thin... But not too thin. I made eye contact with him and smiled. My smile faded to a frown though when I heard it. "GAY" "EMO" "RETARD!" Everyone was screaming terrible names at him... Before I knew what I was doing I stood up in front of everyone and yelled. "LEAVE HIM ALONE!!!". One of the jocks, Kaleb, looked at me. "What's the little a anorexic emo gonna do about it?"
"I... I... Um...." I stuttered.
"That's what I thought!" He laughed and knocked me to the ground. I whimpered as he pulled his fist back, ready to smash my face. Just then, Michael pulled him away. "WTF?!" Michael yelled at me while cleaning out my cuts and scratches. "I'm sorry it's just that new kid..." I stopped when I saw him walking up.
"Hi... I'm Shane... Thanks for helping me out back there." Awww c:
I smiled and shook his hand. "No problem, my name is Emery and that's my best friend Michael."
I showed him his classes helped him out with teachers. The bell for period went off and we rushed to classes. As Shane walked away... I realized how beautiful he really is... Do I like Shane?
