I wasn't able to see his face clearly and I was also feeling suffocation, both because of all the supporting equipment that was tied around my neck, but I couldn't figure out what was happening and then suddenly I started feeling fear, a hell lot of fear, because for all I knew at that moment was that I was in a strange room for god knows how long, with my neck covered, all these wires around my neck and a strange looking man was standing in front of me, a sudden chill went down my spine and and I started breathing heavily, he was calmly looking at me and smilling, I opened my mouth to yell for help but instead, I said,"Who are you?", In a very loud voice.

He started replying just before I completed my whole sentence and said something in jibberish, I didn't understand what he was saying, I told him that," I wasn't quite able to understand, what you were saying".

His face looked a little-disappointed hearing what I said, then he suddenly started walking closer to me and then when he was too close he said,"Did you see me coming?".

I didn't answer his question, but maybe the confused expression on my face gave him the answer he was looking for and he turned around scratching his chin and said,"So, your mouth and eyes can keep up with me but your ears cannot yet, God, I have to speak too slowly with you it is exhausting, But we have to work with that for some time",

"What, what are you talking about, who are you? where am I?", I started shouting as I was confused and really afraid at the same time and didn't know what to do.

Maybe he didn't like me shouting because just the moment I raised my voice in the blink of an eye he was standing too close to me, a moment ago he was at the other corner of the room and now he was a breath away from me with his mouth near my ears, at this point I didn't even want to speak, I just remained quiet as he said in my ears,"I bet you didn't see me coming this time", then he slowly moved away from me and calmed himself, he took a deep breath and started speaking, he asked," Now, I need to know, what is the last thing you remember before getting up ?", I looked at him completely blank as he was waiting for an answer and I looked at his and thought that I shouldn't make him angry and I started thinking and I remembered, standing on the road and getting hit by the truck and then nothing.

While I remembered this I looked around and the room I was in was an ICU, I asked him,"Are you a doctor?", he didn't respond to that instead he said," You were in a coma for almost eight to nine months, you went into the coma the moment you got hit by the truck and all your neck bones are fractured, your nerves are so damaged that your brain has lost almost total control over your body below your neck, we might as well can call you a talking bed mattress, or maybe for your adoptive father a very expensive mattress that is gonna take interest from him until he rots enough for him to throw away", he stopped and I just felt a lot of pain while and after listening to all he said, it wasn't good, but before I could muster the strenght to utter any word out of my mouth he again started speaking and said,"That must've hurt, right. But don't worry all that I just said is the crux of what almost everyone is gonna tell after they see you awake the only difference is that they are gonna sugar coat it with just the right amount of 'but we still love you' in the end".
