Ah, I'll give you this scene that I'm planning on adding in my book. It's not permanent, and one of the characters doesn't have a name yet. (Please help me with name, I'm running out of ideas XD)
Scene-
Lilac blinked, then looked around. "(Character's name)?" She called, peering into the pets' room. She spotted Speckled and Badger, but not (character's name). Lilac tilted her head in confusion. "Where is he?" She asked herself. Suddenly, it hit her. "Damnit, (character's name)!" She bolted out of the lab, somehow or alerting any of the humans. She slipped through the pets' door and emerged outside. She looked around spotting (character's name)'s blue-gray fur. Her heart stopped at the sound of a gun loading, which came in the direction of where (character's name) was. She let out growl, running over to him and immediately spotting the shooter. She jumped over (character's name), and was hit by the bullet. She hit the ground, seeing (character's name)'s face full of terror. "Lilac!" (Character's name) screeched.
