Today is my day off and that kind of scares me. I won't have anything to do and my mind will be thinking nonstop. Too much time to myself can probably make me crazy, if I wasn't already. I've managed to keep up with the house and there's not really much to clean. I finished the two manuscripts yesterday when I got home. Maybe a good day with Aubrey at the mall would be fine, she has been wanting some really cute shoes from there.

I decide to call Aubrey and ask her if she would like to join me. She agrees and tells me she'll meet me at the food court. I apply a bit of makeup before I grab my purse and make my way to my car. I hop into the seat and start the car, pulling out of the driveway and taking the freeway to the mall. When I park the car in the parking lot, I hurry and pull out a hair tie from the glove compartment. Picking up my hair into a neat ponytail, I leave out my bangs and securely wrap the hair tie around my hair.

My sister stands up from her seat and pulls me into a hug, a little tighter than I had expected.

"What's wrong?" I ask, worry laced in my voice.

"Nothing. I haven't seen you in a while, that's all." She replies and we pull away.

We walk around the mall, looking at clothing and buying a few outfits. She finds the cute shoes she's been wanting and I buy them for her.

"Thank you." She says as we walk out the store.

I shoot her a smile in reply.

"Do you want anything to eat?" I ask as we walk back towards the food court.

"A burger would be fine."

As we wait in line I tuck my bangs behind my ear and look around out of habit.

My stomach drops.

Oh God.

I spot chestnut curls in a crowd of people looking at a brand new 5.0 Mustang. I quickly look away, avoiding eye contact at all costs. If he walks over here he'll definitely find a way to bring up Zayn and his murderer, and right now, I don't need that. Especially, not while my sister is around. I gulp and chew on my lip. I probably look more nervous now than I did on graduation day. Aubrey notices and she asks if I'm okay.

"Yeah, I'm fine." My face is a light shade of red and I can feel the heat burn on my cheeks.

The line seems to be going slower than I remember. Ugh, hurry up. The last thing I want is to bump into Harry-

"Well, well, well, if it isn't Nicole." I hear Harry's husky voice call from behind me.

I spoke too soon.

I scrunch my face, scowling the cashier. "Uh, yeah. Hi." I turn around, shaking his hand.

Aubrey gives me a weird look, but replaces it with a smile as she looks at Harry. "I'll just leave you two alone then." She nudges me on the shoulder and walks away awkwardly.

I widen my eyes and silently plead her to stay, but she doesn't get the message. I look up at Harry, trying to hide my annoyance, for every time I see him he always has that damn smirk on his face. I force the nicest smile I can.

Harry looks different without his coat. He looks shorter, but still very tall compared to my height. He wears a white v-neck and tight, black jeans with dark brown boots. Seemingly meaningless tattoos are littered on his arms and his hair is not styled as it usually is, his curls fall everywhere, almost as if he didn't do anything to it. He probably didn't.

He catches me staring at him and his lips curve. I clear my throat and look away.

"What are you doing here?" he asks
