The beat started off slow, and so did she. An elegant twirl, followed by the most seductive gaze Taehyung had ever had the pleasure of viewing. And he had seen his fair share.

"Well, this evening might not be a total waste after all." Yoongi spoke up beside him, but Taehyung wasn't paying attention anymore. He was transfixed by the girl on stage. It wasn't the gradual shedding of her clothes that was getting to him, though that was definitely a contributing factor. It was the way she moved. She didn't seem to be dancing for the audience, although she kept throwing them looks to keep them engaged. She was dancing for herself, and for, Taehyung felt, an audience of one. There was just him, and this mysterious girl in the room. No one else. And when she mounted that pole, he swore he had never seen anything more beautiful. Her lithe, undulating figure glistened in the harsh neon lighting, and seemed to glow every time the light subsided.

She was as fluid as the sea, and she was as brilliant as the sun.

Her performance ended to raucous applause, and she did a dainty little bow, before heading back through the curtains.

Taehyung suddenly felt a smack on his arm. "That dance got me all riled up. The girls here had better be as good as you say they are." Yoongi said.

"Oh, trust me," he answered, only half-listening, "they are."

"I'm sorry, sweetheart. He's specifically asked for you. Normally I would tell him you'd gone home, no matter what he offers, you know that. But he made Mr. Lee call in a favour."

Mary sighed softly, pushing back from her dressing table and glancing up at Namjoon. His apologetic tone soothed her, even though she was still pissed that she was going to have to do this. Tonight was supposed to be her night off. She got to her feet and wordlessly headed over to the rack to pick out her outfit. Namjoon left her to it after a quick pat on the shoulder.

Somewhere along doing shots off a glitter covered stripper's midriff and making passes at the girls keeping Yoongi busy, Taehyung had acquired a tie which he had wrapped around his head bandanna style, and although he smelled strongly of alcohol, he was still in his senses, for the most part, when he entered the backroom where he would meet the mysterious MJ.

He paused to take in his surroundings. His dark eyes travelled over the red sheets that covered the king size bed, as well as the pole set up in a corner of the room.

The curtains parted as she stepped into the room. His eyes instantly locked with hers, even though the silken robe she was wearing would normally have distracted him far too much. She raised an eyebrow but held his steady gaze.

He bit his lip again.

"Are you ready?" She asked softly, stepping forwards to touch his chest. He suddenly grabbed her hands.

"Talk to me."

Mary paused and her eyebrows shot up. She wasn't sure she had heard that correctly.

"What?" She snapped. It may have come out a little ruder than she had intended, but she was annoyed. She wanted to go home, and he wasn't unattractive. In fact, he was quite the opposite and given a little time, she wouldn't have minded getting to know him for a little longer than she would normally allow. Why was he delaying this?

"Talk to me." The handsome man repeated. His hold on her hands loosened as he gazed into her eyes. Mary found herself unable to reply for a moment. There was something very captivating in those eyes, but his voice was even more so. It reminded her of rich, dark chocolate, for some reason. Heavy and smooth.

"Is this some weird kink?" She questioned, still unsure. His rumbling chuckle filled the room as he let go of her and took a walk around the room. He paused to lean against a wall and look back at her. "No. I'll fill you in on those later." He winked at her, and Mary was pretty sure that wink would have made any other girl drop her panties without hesitation. But she wasn't any other girl.

"You're going to pay a million won... To talk to me."

The man shrugged. Mary sized him up. He was about a head taller than her, with dark brown hair and a razor sharp jawline. His hands were massive, and his eyes a deep brown just a shade darker than his hair.

"What do you want me to talk about?"

"What's your name?"

"Mary Jane."

"Your real name."

"What makes you think that isn't my real name?"

"Trust me, babygirl, it's my business to know things like this."

Mary raised an eyebrow. "I don't know what your business is, but I have no clue who you are, and that means I'm definitely not telling you about my name."

"Fair enough. I'll start. I'm Taehyung. Kim Taehyung. I'm in Seoul for business. With a little pleasure thrown in." He inclined his head in her direction. "I'm from Daegu, born and raised. And where are you from?"

Mary hesitated. What harm could telling him that do? "Busan." She answered quietly, still unsure of where Taehyung was heading.

"Ah. That was a fantastic performance by the way. You're a wonderful dancer."

"Thank you."

"Are you trained?"

"... Yes, actually. Busan School of Arts. Contemporary dance."

"It shows. The way you move is.... Exquisite."

His eyes were boring into hers with such intensity, Mary had to fight the urge to look away.

"How old are you?"

"I'm legal, if that's what you're asking." She replied by way of answer.

Taehyung chuckled again. "That's not what I asked."

"... I'm turning 20 next month."

"And how long have you been working here, Mary Jane?"

"A little over a year now."

Taehyung was silent for a while. "And why, Mary, are you the most, ah, expensive girl here?"

Mary smirked slightly. "You'd know if you had paid for it."

Taehyung smirked. He wasn't used to girls being this... Feisty. It turned him on much more than he cared to admit.

"Your boss is pretty close to a lot of important people, isn't he?"

"A few, yeah."

He stepped forward then, and suddenly grabbed her chin, tilting it up so they were looking into each others eyes. His eyes travelled down to her lips, and he licked his own. "Well, this has been a pleasant little chat. I look forward to seeing you again, Mary Jane." She just stared back at him as he let her go and stepped out of the room with one final smirk.

Mary frowned to herself as she headed to the back to get changed.

That was strange.

"You were right. I needed to loosen up a little." Yoongi drawled as they stepped into their apartment. Taehyung flicked on the lights and heard Yoongi's audible sigh as all the boxes they needed to unpack were illuminated. "Ugh, do we have to do this now? I had a good time tonight."

"Mmm..." Taehyung hummed, thinking it over. "Let's do it tomorrow. We deserve a break. Besides," he turned to Yoongi, eyes gleaming. "I found the right one."
