The autumn wind breezed right through me. I shivered as i walk home from school. With this load in my black and white backpack on my shoulders, i'm bound to trip or fall. Thank god I came home safely, and also not making a fool out of myself. As I make my way through the kitchen, I see mom there with files scattered across the counter top. I could only make out the words ' Holiday Trip'.
"Hey, come here and look what I got planned out for you" she finally spoke.
As I look through the pile of holiday brochures and flight bookings, I came across a name. A name that I haven't heard in months since I transferred schools. Qai....
"What is this?!" I accidentally shouted while pointing to his boarding pass.
"Oh honey, you remember Qai don't you? You used to be good friends."Good friends?! Yeah right...
"Apparently he's a family friend by your grandmother.. So I thought it would fun for you to have someone your age on the trip other than the oldies." She explained.
"Awww, but I don't want him to come" I pouted.
"And why is that?"
"Uhmm, nothing, nevermind." I answered to avoid any further questions.I stomped upstairs to my room, the bittersweet memories came back....
"This is gonna be one h*ll of a ride..."

Here I am, holding on to my earl grey tea in a coffee shop at the airport. My grandma, whose suppose to be my guardian for the trip, has left me here alone while she's off talking to some stranger. My parents had work so they couldn't come along. My grandma had given me the job to wait for Qai and the rest of his family. In my head, were awful ways he would greet me, or better yet, not greet me at all. I kept thinking how awkward it will be, How the hating of each other could stab us like knives. But my thought were then interrupted when I felt a pat on my back. I turn around to see Qai and his family.
Our families greeted each other warmly. After I greeted his family, I tried to escape somewhere so I won't have to deal with his sh*t, but I was stopped by a body in front if me. I slowly looked up only to see his smiling face.
"What the h*ck is he smiling for?" I thought to myself.
He held his hand out for a handshake. I took it, slightly confused. Wait.... Why is he suddenly so nice? To suprise me even more, he had started small talk with me like nothing has happened. What was going on?!
"Group photo!!!" My grandma announced out of nowhere.
I knew I had to join in if I didn't want to hear the nagging of my grandma. I slowly walked into crowd, unsure where to stand. Then I saw Qai motioned me to stand beside him. Seeing that I had nowhere else to go, I did as I was told.
I was standing very awkwardly beside him. He looked at me, held me by the waist and pull me closer to him.Woah.. He has never touched me like that before. What is happening here? W-why am I blushing? I shouldn't be feeling this.......right?
