---Angels POV---

"W-what?" I sputtered as my eyes widened. Everything around me slowly faded out. Soon it was just the field in front of me that engulfed my vision.

Alpha Collin. Leader of the Red Crescent pack. Also the one who is specifically in charge himself of creating the pairings for the ranks. He stood at the far end of the field with several other alphas and betas. Many bodies scrambled around him as it seemed they were getting ready for the big fight. The fight that involved me....

His face twisted into a smirk. One that burns its way into my memory. That smirk looked so similar...to similar for my liking. The fact I could see so far was due to my first generation heritage.

My master. I quickly inhaled sharply knocking the next breath out of me. My fists balled up as they rested on my thighs digging into the skin.

The pain was almost non existent as I battled with my fear that was rapidly consuming me. A faint dizzy spell slowly faded in and out causing me to become more unbalanced.

I-i can't!...I ca-ant do t-this! I thought to myself as my body began to tremble. I began to hyperventilate as my gaze shifted to my fists that turned pale as the colour drained.

"I-I can't do this! Please!" Shina said as she got to her feet quickly looking panicked.

Her eyes widened as well as she looked rather flustered. "How could he! Why would he put her in the rankings? She isn't even apart or the pack!" Hunter said as the anger was clear in is words.

"He would have to bend the rules...That's illegal!" Nina said as she too struggled to comprehend the situation.

"He is an alpha which although comes with great power this is something the higher ups can only control." Fallon said as his brows furrowed attempting to solve the situation as if it were a math question and you must go threw the several different ways in order to get the answer.

"Obviously someone had to pull some strings." Veronica said as she too was now in the conversation.

"You would have to have a great amount of power to do that." Sena said as she looked over to Veronica. Her hand went to her chin as she began to think.

My gaze shifted to Dex who was beside me. He was rather quite making me uncomfortable. His teeth were clenched as he took deep breaths as if to calm himself. Dex's eyes were very dark. He was fighting his own battle.

"I agree with Veronica. Think about it. The werewolf king and queen are the only ones who can bend these rules. The only way to contact them directly would mean you would have to know someone directly. Getting to them is like trying to find a needle in a haystack. It's damn well near impossible. The amount of security and guards to get through...they would have your head before you even start. There highly trained guards who's noses are almost on par with a first generation. You couldn't get past them even if you really tried. Meaning, someone who is in this stadium as of right now has a relation of some sort with the king and queen themselves." Rin said as he looked deep into thought.

Just as he said that someone in the crowd in front of us spoke. "I know it's rude to eavesdrop but I couldn't help my notice your sudden predicament...to answer your question, no the king and queen are not here. But, since something has been brought to there attention they seemed to have sent out there top guard, Elven Trostpher. Usually they send out a messenger who has little to no value if they were to be killed. But sending out there elite guard who is the leader of the Crystal Shield means that this is a serious matter and should not be dealt with lightly..." A female said as she used her head as an indicator while staring at me.
