"You better take care of that Mutt before I do something about it, Luca. I don't want him near her."

"Of course, we will take care of him. You and your brother should go get ready for the Ceremony to claim them."

Finally getting back to my house, my mom helps me get ready for the Ceremony. Curling my blonde hair into long waves taming my wild curls and apply natural-toned makeup to my face in front of the vanity in my room.

I starting looking at myself getting caught up in my thoughts and worries about tonight when I hear my mom.

My mom sighs, "That gamma is such an ass, male wolves these days." Rolling her eyes in disgust checking in my bandage so see that the cut is almost healed, but the silver will definitely leave a scar.

"Do you want to keep the bandage on for the Ceremony? It seems to be fine now, how are you feeling?" She asks concerned.

"My arm is feeling okay now, but I still just feel so blah," I inform her, just not completely feeling like myself as she takes off the bandage to reveal my now scarred forearm. I look down at the three claw marks running my fingers over them as it sends a shiver of disgust down my spine. I will forever be 'marked' by that arrogant Gamma.

"The doctor let us know it might be the silver that got into your bloodstream," she says as she rubs my back, "You will be okay Charlotte, fight for yourself. Whatever man beats you, then he is worthy to get a chance." She sighs.

"Thank you, mom," I hug her as she pulls back and starts rubbing my arms up and down, "Now go get dressed, you're going to late."

I walk over to my closet and find my Ceremony dress hanging on the door. I put on my long black dress that I got with Meghan. The high neckline was always a favorite cut on me, as well as a revealing my back making me feel sexy. Slipping on some strappy heels to make me taller as I walk out of my closet to see my mother smiling face.

"You look beautiful sweetie," she tears up and gives me a hug, "Give them hell." As she places my navy blue Beta sash over my shoulder with our pack's crest the lays over my heart.

Looking down at my sash I feel a little bit of pride. Each rank has a different colored sash, Alphas are Red, Betas are Blue, Gammas are Green, Warriors are Black and Omegas are yellow.

During the Ceremony, a male wolf can put his sash over her to symbolize that she has been claimed by him and if anyone else wants to challenge them, they can.

If the female approves of their claim then she will become their Mate. But if she doesn't, then she will challenge the wolf she doesn't see worthy.

"I'm so proud of the women you have become, you're strong and independent. Who wants to make a name for herself." She tears up giving me another hug.

She hasn't let go of me yet and I start to laugh, "I'll be okay mom, don't worry. I will be back before you know it!"

My parents have always been supportive of me challenging during every Ceremony. They want me to be happy, which is why I will make sure my mate will make me happy.

She finally let's go of me and We start making our way towards the living room. I step down the stairs to find my brother and dad talking in the living room.

I look over to my brother who is wearing a dark grey suit with a navy blue tie. He also wears his Beta sash over his shoulder.

My brother looks up at me, "Ready?"
