"Palwasha" Aima yelled from her room.
Palwasha walked to Aima's room.
"Yes what is it" asked Palwasha.
"Sit down with me" Aima said. Aima looked very concerned.
Palwasha was really worried now she knew that look on Aima's face meant trouble.
She sat down next to her sister.
"Ayesha she..." Aima began "she told me that you took a ride from a man and forced her to go with you".
"Wait what" Palwasha yelled "that's not true she..." Aima cut her off.
"Is it true or not Palwasha, did you take a ride from a man?"
"Yes I did" Palwasha replied she felt embarrassed and humiliated.
Dead silence fell for two minutes then suddenly Aima slapped Palwasha's face so hard she felt dizzy for five seconds and her vision went blurry.
"You idiot, what if dad or Armaghan saw you" Aima yelled "what if someone from our neighborhood saw you no one would want to marry you".
Palwasha broke in tears.
Aima suddenly felt bad and guilty.
"Just get out" Aima ordered "get out of my room"
Palwasha still sat crying.
Aima got up and pulled Palwasha's brown and silky hair, she pulled Palwasha's hair until she reached the door and pushed her outside her room.
"Get out of my sight you spoiled girl" Aima said and then quickly shut the door.
Aima had never been like that before. Palwasha would always share her secrets with Aima. Aima was acting strange lately.
Palwasha picked herself up. She wiped her tears like she always did. Drying her own tears.
Palwasha walked to the fridge and took the sticky note her mom had put on it.
More grocery!
Palwasha got ready to go outside. She also got a basket that she usually used for shopping.
Armaghan and her father were both at work and her mother was busy sewing clothes.
Sadia would usually be upstairs and she would hardly come down.
Palwasha started walking towards the bazaar that she found yesterday. There were alot of cheap things she could buy. She was enjoying the weather and trying to make herself happy.
She wasn't half way there when a strong hand grabbed her shoulder.
She instantly turned around.
It was Qasim.
"Missed me sugar?" he asked.
Palwasha pushed his hand away from her shoulder. "I have nothing to do with you" she replied.
"When did I say you have anything to do with me" Qasim replied.
Palwasha started thinking about what Aima did and she suddenly broke into tears.
"Hey, hey sugar don't cry am I really that scary?" Qasim asked.
Palwasha covered her face so he couldn't see her.
Qasim suddenly felt guilty he didn't want to see her cry.
"Why are you crying" he asked
"It's none of your business" Palwasha replied
