The rain trickled down the damaged thatch roof.

"Greyson! Greyson!" She beamed, running over to the silver haired boy repairing the thatch roofed house.
"What is it my Eve?"
"I told you not to call me that! My name is Everest!" She mock-pouted, crossing her arms in fake anger.
To tell the truth, she LOVED being called Eve by him. It made her feel special.. Like he took the time to make it up just for her.
"Grey... I have bad news.."
He immediately hopped down from the roof and ran over to her
"What's wrong, Eve?"
This time, she didn't have the strength to be angry at him for addressing her by the false name..
"G- Grey-" Her bottom lip quivered, her arms and knees shaking.
He took her hands in his.
"G- G- Grey... I- I'm moving.."
His expression dropped to disbelief
"Is it to be closer to the school? What neighborhood are you moving to?"
She sniffled
"Atlanta... I-I'm moving to-"
"No!" He interrupted.. "No, you can't move there!"
"D- Daddy got a- a- a- J- Job"
She couldn't finish her sentence, and instead crumbled to the floor, crying with great sorrow.
Greyson crumbled with her.
