Well, story time!
Today (or yesterday I guess since it's past 12) I went to an air trampoline place and they have dodgeball. I'm the type of person that will make 0 sound and just stand in the front, completely expressionless, and just watch the other team. They don't usually notice me. Now those kids started realizing I was always one of the last ones left and BAM! I started getting targeted! Now I've got major dodging skills (the words of others, not myself I promise) and I dodged everything they threw at me. There was two people who threw a ball at the same time and I dodged both of them. That's when people gave up on trying to hit me so they caught the balls I threw instead. I also decided to stop throwing.
Later, another kid joined and straight away he got everyone on my team out except me and 1 other person. Naturally, I was the next target. I dodged the first few he threw. He was also the last person on his team. Now, I was holding a dodgeball and he threw the one he had at me. Everyone in the dodgeball games at that air trampoline park would block the balls when they had another one in their hand. Not me. I dropped the ball I was holding and caught the one he threw at me and won the round for my team. Everyone on my team and some from the other team started screaming and shouting "Matao" or something like that (Ma-tay-o). So I was that kid's target the whole next round and he failed to get me out and accidentally smacked me right in the face with a ball. 😂
Was there a point to this story? No, other than to be proud of my dodgeball skills.
Did this story make sense? Probably not. I cannot explain things for the life of me.
