"You can't lose hope." thats what they said, so much to think of, so much to love. So to preserve, I built up my walls, and I built them up tall.

But then you came around, smashing them down, knocking them out. But you didn't want in, you wanted me to come out. You then walked away, back inside, put away. Your walls are built higher, surrounded by fire, and they melt all my ice. So you've broken me down, you've shut me out, but I never was in, are we even friends? Or is this the end?

So there I stood, alone & ungaurded, broken, and misunderstood. And he came along, so I let him stay, for I no longer have walls to keep him away. Now your fires are out, theres thin ice on the ground, but I'm safe and sound. I'm aching, and soaring, at least you're not ignoring, like once before. I'll hold him close, but you I'll hold closer, I'm trying to hold on, trying to move on, but I really thought, and I used all my hope.... But oh.... Oh no. And so I remain, safe, and insane, alone, and yet crowded, my heart has been shredded.
