*one month later*

After all this time, I finally got rid of the crutches and Alex was fine as well. She had started to walk a week after surgery and she was as good as new by the end of that week.

Elijah spent more time at home and he made sure we were recovering well. The paternal side of him came out unexpectedly and I wasn't complaining.

From time to time he would carry me from our room to the living room back to the room then to the kitchen. He even made Alex and I soup.

Was it good? He might lack some cooking skills but his intention was enough to make me eat it all. Or at least almost all of it.

Alex would leave the house more than Elijah and it was beginning to leave some curiosity behind. She would randomly leave the house without saying where she was going but Evan would follow her. Sometimes I didn't know if she knew he was following after her.

I sat down on the couch thinking of where she could possibly be and that's when Elijah's phone on the table started ringing. He came out of the kitchen with a glass of water and got his phone.

"Whats the matter," he asked, answering the phone. Not long after he walked to grab his keys and came back to the living room saying, "okay, I'm on my way. Stay where you are."

He put his phone away in his pocket and he looked at me without an expression on his face, "I'm heading out for a while. If you need anything just tell May, she's in her room."

Without saying any more words, he walked out the door and I heard the car leave the drive way.

Well, I guess it's back to how it was. He'll be coming back home late again and I'll have nothing to do all day. It's like they all want me to g crazy.

I watched movies the whole day and as soon as Aladdin finished, May was coming down the stairs. She smiled at me and plopped right next to me handing me a chocolate, "you've been watching movies all day?" I smile and open the chocolate, "yea, I can't really do much." She sympathized and asked, "where's everyone?"

"Well, Elijah left in the morning and still isn't back and Alex left really early in the morning and Evan left right after her. They haven't been here all day." She shakes her head and stares off to the ceiling, "they're all fucking crazy. I don't know what to do with them sometimes."

Just as she was finishing her sentence, the main door opened and we stayed attentive to see who it was. Alex walked in and Evan followed behind. Alex didn't even look our way and walked up the stairs to her room shutting the door behind her. She looked mad, extra annoyed.

Evan shook his head and sighed. He looked at us and weakly put on a smile. He walked to the kitchen and came back with a bottle of water in his hand. Without saying anything else, he walked out the door and we heard his car drive away.

May looked at me with a confused expression on her face and I furrowed my eyebrows in wonder. May stood up and grabbed my hand, "come on, let's go see if Alex is okay."

We walked up the stairs and down the hallway to Alex's room. May lightly knocked and Alex opened the door now wearing pjs and fluffy socks. She didn't look that mad anymore but she didn't say anything to us and just opened the door all the way as if letting us in. We walked in and May sat down at the edge of her bed while Alex climbed in to the middle.

"Okay what's wrong," May asked and I took a seat on the couch next to her bed. Alex looked down at her phone and then groaned, "Evan is being an asshole."

I was hoping couples like them never got into fights. Whenever I see them they're always playing around and laughing. I've never seen them mad at each other so this was new to me.
