JAEBUM POV

I woke up to the sound of the bathroom door closing. For a second I had forgotten that I wasn't alone in my room this morning. I got up and went over to knock on the door.

Me: Jinyoung, hurry so I can take a shower and we can leave.

Jinyoung: Did you forget? Today's Saturday Jaebum

Me: Oh... but um... still let's go out... I don't want to stay here

I just heard Jinyoung hum back and I went to sit on my bed. I don't think I like Jinyoung, so obviously I'm proving Venita wrong, she made a mistake and I'm going to show her that she must fix it. Jinyoung and I are nothing alike, he's more library and I'm more arcade, he's water and I'm fire it just doesn't mix up.

A while later Jinyoung walked out with a towel around his body. I had on my boxers and a shirt, I had to make sure he didn't see my tattoo obviously. I walked over to my dresser and took out a pair of boxers, a sweater and some pants.

Me: Here, so you don't have to wear the same thing you wore yesterday.

He nodded and for some reason he seemed a bit off to me.

Me: Are you okay? Do you feel bad or something?

Jinyoung: I.... I just hate that.... I'm here feeling guilty about not have waited for my actual soul mate to only be his... and you... you're just like nothing...

My heart started racing, for a second I thought he was going to say "And all along it was you, I saw your tattoo" or something like that.

Me: I mean... I do care, but I don't at the same time. I just pretend that I don't have my tattoo yet because either way I can't find my soul mate so why be loyal to someone I don't know yet?

Jinyoung doesn't say anything and just starts to change. I go take my shower and once I'm done,we both go out to eat breakfast. We walk to the nearest dinner and enter, we sit at a two person table and I see Jinyoung starring out the window at nothing in particular.

Me: Are you sure you... um... want to be here with me?

Jinyoung: Sure why not? I mean.. we can pretend we're soul mate for the time being no?

Why do I see him blushing?

Me: Yea sure whatever I guess. So order whatever you want, I'll pay.

He smiles and looks at the menu, I couldn't help but analyze his features properly. He had really nice black hair, beautiful pale white skin. His lips were reddish pink and plump, his eyes were beautiful and big. His cheeks always had that tint of pink even if he wasn't blushing at all.

Waiter: May I take your order now? Or are you not ready yet?

Jinyoung tells the waiter his order and then I tell mine, we sit in silence while our food gets prepared.

Me: So, what are you gonna do when you find your actual soul mate?

He shrugs and drinks the coffee he ordered, he stares at me.

Jinyoung: What are you gonna do when you find yours?

Me: I don't want to find mine... guess I'm having fun with you

I smirk and he just rolls his eyes, our food gets here and we begin eating. I notice Jinyoung cutting up his pancakes before taking some and pouring strawberry syrup on it.

Jinyoung: Here

He says stretching out his hand to feed me the pancakes. I giggle and shake my head.

Me: You know, I have my own pancakes

He starts to move back but I grab his hand and eat the pancake he was giving me. He smiles and looks down as he eats his pancake.

Me: Where do you want to go after?

Jinyoung: Hm, I don't know wherever you want to go

Me: Let's go to the arcade, today you're going to be a cool laid back Jinyoung not the nerd.

He chuckles and nods.

Jinyoung: whatever you say

We went to the arcade once we finished eating, we played all the games there and I was surprised when he beat me in a few of them. He was pretty good at basketball as well as dancing, the nerd doesn't stop surprising me.

Jinyoung: Jaebum, can we uh.. take pictures?

I think for a while.

Me: Sure why not?

He smiles and drags me into a foto booth and we take pictures. I hated that we were acting like a couple when we both knew we weren't one.

Jinyoung: Ahhh, this one is my favorite, we came out really good

He said smiling, we continued walking and he wanted to cotton candy so we bought some. I took the chance to get pictures of him off guard, funny how he still came out really nice.

After a while, we went to my house to pick up his bag and headed to his house.

Jinyoung: Thank you for today... I had fun

Me: I did too... but honestly we shouldn't act like a couple.. when we're obviously not

He nods and opens the door to his house.

Jinyoung: I think I'm doing this mostly for you... I mean almost two years without finding your soul mate yet so... yeah

Me: Funny how you said you'd find your soul mate before me. It's almost been 2 or 3? Months Jinyoung.

He looks down and then back at me.

Jinyoung: I... I thought I found him... but I guess he needs to find me

Me: What's that supposed to mean?

He shakes his head, then he comes to kiss me and walks back in.

Jinyoung: Nevermind it, be safe Jaebum.

He closes his door and I head home, once I get there I look at the picture on my lock screen. Jinyoung ended up noticing the pictures I took and put them as my screen saver.

I'm starting to think that, proving Venita wrong is going to be a little harder than I thought.
