I got to the apartment and Mr. Holmes was no where to be found. For the person who chose the time we'd meet you'd think he'd be on time. I shook my head and went up to knock on the door. Just as I reached it a cab pulled up and who should step out but the man himself.
"Evening Mister Holmes."He raised his hand slightly.
"Just Flynnigan is fine."
He knocked on the door.I looked around the place was nice.
"This place is pretty nice. Sure we can afford it?"He gave a half smile.
"Under normal circumstances no. However I helped the landlady out a bit when her husband was facing the death penalty in Florida a few years back.""You saved him."
The smile grew as he shook his head.
"Oh no, I ensured it."Before I could ask questions the door was answered by a woman, not much older than myself. She was dressed modestly with glasses, a long skirt, and her blonde hair pulled in a tight bun. She smiled widely at Flynnigan.
"Flynnie. How are you?"He didn't look happy about the nickname.
"Fine Mrs. A. Just fine."She ushered us inside and up the stairs. We were led to a moderate sized apartment. It was furnished already and somehow was already a mess of lab equipment. He must have noticed me looking around.
"I may have already taken the liberty of already moving in."Mrs. A. gestured to a door off to the side.
"There's another bedroom upstairs if you'll be needing it."I was taken aback.
"Of course we'll be needing it."She smiled like we were sharing an inside joke.
"It's alright. We get all kinds around here."I couldn't believe this woman. Was she really implying that we were-? I had only just met the guy! I noticed something on the mantle.
"Is that a human skull?"Flynnigan looked over at it.
"Yes. Friend of mine. Well, I say friend."
He moved about thoughtfully and mumbled under his breath.
"Where is my laptop?"I watched him. He barely seemed aware I was there.
"I looked you up last night.""Hmm?"
"Found your website. 'The Science of Deduction'?"
He didn't respond. He froze for a second at the sound of a car door slamming.
"Something's different.""What?"
He looked out the window and I looked over his shoulder. A police car was parked outside.
"There's been another suicide, but this one's different somehow."
He looked excited. Somehow I could tell this was about to get interesting.

FanfictionI got bored on the twelve hour drive back from Indiana so I stuck myself and my friends into Sherlock. Most of the cases are created by me but some are directly from the show. It will mostly be from Watson's perspective to parody the original books...
