Chapter 5

I woke up and checked my phone.6:07am.I got up and stepped over Nikki.I figured she had stayed up late last night.I hadn't seen her this peaceful since we were 7 and she spent the night at my house,ate half a bag of sugar,and crashed on our couch at 5:00am.I went intokitchen and Allie was sitting at the table drinking orange juice out of a "World's Greatest Cook' mug.I looked at the mug,then at her.

Me:You can cook!?!?!?

Allie:You know this is Aunt Anna's mug.

Me:Is anyone else up?

Allie:No,Suprisingly.

I got a mug from the cabinet.and poured milk and chocolate syrup into it.I got a knife and sat down beside of Allie.

Allie:You're drinking chocolate milk for breakfast?

Me:Yes,and you're drinking orange juice,you,chocolate milk neglector...

Allie:One more question.Why the knife?

Me:I can't find any spoons and I can't stir my chocolate milk with a fork.

We heard Nikki get up and saw her come into the kitchen.

Nikki:Hey.

Me:Hola.

Nikki:Don't go spanish on me.

Me:I won't.

I patted Nikki's head as she sat down.

???:So,what ya'll talking bout?

I turned around and saw Aunt Anna atanding behind me.I screamed.

Me:You scared me!

Aunt Anna:Then I have accomplished aomething before 12:00.So,what'cha girls doing?

Me:Not much.

Aunt Anna:Ahhh.Ok,who's hungry?

Me,Nikki,& Allie:Me!

She made us biscuits & gravy with bacon.We all ate then Nikki and I went upstairs and got our clothes.I went into my bathroom and changed for school.I came out and Nikki was waiting.We got our bags and went downstairs.Allie was sitting in the living room.We all went out the door and got in the van and Aunt Anna started to back out.

???:Wait!

We all saw Jake hopping towards the van.

Aunt Anna opened the door to let Jake in.

Aunt Anna:Sorry Jake.Okay,We got everyone?

Me:Yeah.

Aunt Anna backed out of the driveway and drove to the elementary school.She dropped Jake off then took us to the middle school.Me and Nikki hugged Aunt Anna and Allie bye then got out.We went up the steps and went in.Me and Nikki walked to our lockers(they're right beside each others)And put our books up.

Nikki:So,you excited for tonight?

Me:Yeah.

Nikki:I so wish I could come with you.

Me:You and me both.

We went to home room and sat down.I sat in front of Nikki and behind Maranda.(She's really snobby and stuck up.She's the stereotypical popular,with blonde hair,blue eyes,and designer clothes.Also,we're enemies)The bell rang as a few kids hurried in the classroom.Our teacher,Mrs. Smith,started to read announcements.

Mrs. Smith:Over the next three weeks,We will be having a contest.Whoever sells the most merchandise will win a trip to Hollywood for them and three people of their choosing.Now,this is for the 8th Grade only.Aaron,please pass out a sign-up sheet to everyone.Except Alexis.I was informed by her Aunt that she will be leaving us for a while.Alexis,can you tell us why?

Me:Um...Sure...Well,I figured out that I have a dad and he travels for his job so my Aunt has agreed to let me travel with him.

Maranda:What's his name?

Me:John.....

Maranda:She's lying!

Maranda stood up and pointed her finger at me.

Me:No i'm not!

I stood up.

Smith:Stop fighting or I will send you both to the principals office.

We both sat down.The end of school couldn't come sooner.I was waiting for Allie to show up.We had missed to the bus and Aunt Anna doesn't get home from her job until five.I saw her running over to me.

Me:Where were you? 

Allie:Teacher held me up to talk about my grades.

Me:I see.

We started walking and I looked at my phone.

Nikki had texted me

Nikki:Hey.

Me:Hi

Nikki:Whatcha doin?

Me:Walking home with Allie.u?

Nikki:lol.and im chatting with kesha.

Me:i aint kiddin.and OMG6 ur tlkn 2 kesha!?!

Nikki:I was kiddin....wait u werent?

Me:Nopes.

Nikki:Wait...how have you two not killed each other yet?

Me:Idk.Where'd you go after school ended?

Nikki:i left with mom n dad rite when school ended.

Me:Ahhhh.well g2g.lylas

Nikki:kk.lylas 2

I closed my phone and talked to Allie until we got home.We unlocked the door and went in.

Me:We're home!

Aunt Anna came from upstairs.

Me:Hola.

Aunt Anna:Hey guys.Do you know where the cold medicine is?

Me:Top left cabinet in the kitchen.Why?

Aunt Anna:Jake came home early.The nurse told me that he has a fever and that he's been sneezing,coughing,and has had watery eyes all day.

Allie:Awwww.Poor Jake.

Aunt Anna:Yeah.He's laying down in his bed asleep.

Me:Ok.

I went up to my room and put my stuff up then went back downstairs.

I  sat down on the couch.I got bored after a few minutes so I got up and and got my ipod and phone.

Me:Aunt Anna!I'm going walking.

She came from the kitchen.

Aunt Anna:Wear a jacket.

Me:It's like 78 degrees outside!

Aunt Anna:Fine.Wear shoes.

Me:Noooo....I'm walking barefoot....

Aunt Anna:Interesting choice.

I smiled and rolled my eyes as I went out the door.
