After the fight between Yukino and Elfman, the announcer called up Warcry from Quatro Cerberus and Eve from Blue Pegasus . "OK YOU KNOW THE RULES. WINNING GUILD GETS 10 POINTS, LOSING GUILD GETS NONE, AND IF THE TWO GUILDS DRAW, IT'S 5 POINTS FOR EACH GUILD. YOU HAVE 30 MINUTES TO BEAT THE OPPONENT.!" the announcer explains.
The two fighters walked into the arena. The match began and Warcry began to wail whilst Eve was pelting him with ice. 'Ugh. This fight is gonna be boring' Natsu thinks to himself. Then Natsu slowly began to fade into the wonderful world of sleep as he hoped that the match would be over when he woke up.
When Nastu entered the realm of dreams, he noticed something was off. Everything was unusually hot. He looked around him and a stream of magma erupted. Out of it came a being similar to him but made of magma. "Uh hi?" Natsu says, or more accurately questioned. Suddenly the being attacked him.
Similar to Natsu's Fire Dragon's Roar the being spout a wave of magma at Natsu. Now Natsu has grown from his foolish acts. He wouldn't try to eat anything that wasn't fire, even if was remotely close to being fire. From that thought a memory triggered as he shivered and dodged the roar.He then counters with his own Fire Dragon's Roar.
The magma Natsu blocks Natsu's roar but is sent flying by Natsu's following Fire Dragon's Iron Fist. As Natsu's 'clone' jumped high in the air he charges up a huge ball of magma and throws it at Natsu. It then follow's up by maneuvering a wing attack around the field making it hard to dodge. Natsu however knew this trick all to well and dodged it completely.
"I'll have to take this up a notch!" Natsu shouts. "Fire Dragon's Finishing Blow: Melting Point!" Natsu shouts as he erupts into flames which then spread across the entire field. When the flames finished spreading, Natsu was nowhere to be found. The temperatures were so hot even magma Natsu was starting to deteriorate. Then Natsu appears in the air and creates two magic circles in his hands. Then a barrage of fireballs erupts from the circles and start to cause explosions across the entire field.Suddenly the realm fades away as an enormous dragon appears in front of him.
"WELL DONE NATSU! YOU'VE PASSED MY TRIALS. EVEN SO WITHOUT USING YOUR NULL DRAGON MAGIC." the dragon shouts. "I AM VERITAS, THE MAGMA DRAGON GOD. I MAY OR MAY NOT BE THE LAST DRAGON YOU MAY MEET AS ACNOLOGIA IS DRAWING NEAR. MASTER MY MAGIC AND YOU SHALL BE ABLE TO BOTH ATTACK AND CREATE WITH IT! NOW GO TRAIN!" Veritas shouts as Natsu wakes up.
"Natsu!" Krystal shouts. "Huh?" Natsu answers groggily. Krystal is offended by this and starts to pinch Natsu's cheeks. You should talk to a lady in a proper way, not like you just woke up!" Krystal lectures. After the lecture Natsu asks, "Anyway who won the match?" "Oh that Warcry won." "I see." Natsu comments as he looks the the arena for the next round of fighters.
