DC- Part 2

Laura and I walk back into the cafeteria. Everyone is staring at us.

Laura decides to sit at our regular table. As I'm walking a few guys seem to have this look in their eyes. It's weird- *SMACK*

I stop walking. Some guy just smacked my ass.

Laura turns around and glares at the guy. I on the other hand just stands there in shock.

I don't have any time to react because someone pushes the guy up against a wall.

"Don't you ever put your hands on her again" The person growls to the guy

"Do you understand?" I slightly look over to see the guy

The guy doesn't respond "I said do you understand?!"

The guy nods "Now go apologize"

The guy walks in front of me. I recognize him. He sat next to me last year in chemistry.

"I'm sorry that I touched you inappropriately..."

"I-its ok"

The guy sits down leaving Laura, me, and my hero?

"My hero" comes up to me "Are you ok?"

"T-Tom I'm fine...thanks..."

Laura grabs my hand and glares at Tom "She's fine"

She pulls me away and to our table. I can still feel a few people staring.

"Z? Are you even paying attention?"

"Huh" I turn my attention back to Laura

"I said, "What happened with you and Tom in the hallway?" She whispers

"Nothing...he just came to check on me...and I told him to leave me alone and left to the garden. He came after me again and I yelled at him"

"Why did you yell at him?"

"Because...you know..."

"Oh...what did he say then?"

"He apologized but I yelled again and left"

Laura rubbed her temples "We have five minutes left of lunch. Do you want my mom to come to pick us up?"

I nod and she pulls out her phone. I decided to go to the bathroom.

"Hey, I'll be back, ok?"

"K"

Others start to get up and throw their tray away. Tom walks in my direction which caused me to speed up my pace.

I practically run to the bathroom

"Daya stop running" Tom yells after me

I stop and turn "What do you want Thomas-"

"I love you" He blurted

"What?"

He came closer to me "I've been in love with you since freshman year...I know you think that you were just a bet but you were more than that to me"

"Tom-"

"Zendaya...will you go on a date with me"

"What? I-I..."

"Just one date"

It's just one harmless date. How bad could it be?

"Tom!"

He came up behind me and grabbed my waist "Yes, dear?"

"It's positive"

"What? I'm going to be a father?!"

He picks me up and spins me

"I love you"

"And I love you"

If you're wondering how that date went then let me tell you. The date was amazing and when he took me home we kissed. A few weeks later we became official. When graduation day came Tom and I exchanged promise rings. We went to the same college and after we both finished Tom proposed.

We got married two years ago. About three months ago we decided to start a family. If the pregnancy test is correct then we're starting the family we want and I couldn't be happier.
