"So tell me again what happened?" I asked Reese and she rolled her eyes then started to speak.

"Sorry I wasn't listening." I said and she shook her head.

"So Ryan stood me up at the movies. He said he needed to use the bathroom but never came back." I shook my head and opened my locker.

"That sucks. I'm sorry," Reese shrugs and then opens her locker which is next to mine.

I feel someone come behind me and wrap their arms around my shoulders then plant a kiss on my cheek. James.

"Hey beautiful." James said then fiddling with my bracelet.

"Hi."  I took my books and took out the ones I didn't need from my backpack.

"Where's Ryan, Reese?" James asked and I rolled my eyes. Sometimes he can be a jerk.

"James, they broke up." I whispered to him and Reese shook her head.

"Oh,"

"It's ok we weren't too serious anyways," she shrugged and I closed my locker.

James and I have been dating for a year now ever since he moved from England. I know, i love British accents too.

Us three walked to first class since the bell had rang. James and I had science together so we departed from Reese. She waved at us and we walked to science.

James looked at me from the front of the room where his seat was and smiled. I gave a small smile back and kept writing notes on what we were learning.

"So class, get into pairs and work on this packet I'm handing out. Yes you can pick anyone," the teacher rolled her eyes and started to hand out the packet. I eyed James and he nodded in response to us being partners.

I walked up to where he was sitting and pulled a chair to put at the side of his desk.

"I've missed you. I feel like we haven't been spending a lot of time together." He held my hand and I looked at ours intertwined.

"Yeah I miss you too. How about we hang out together after school. You me and Reese? You know how she and her boyfriend broke up right?" I said, writing the answers down.

"Yeah, that's fine." I smiled and the teacher looked at us. We took our hands back from being intertwined and looked at the packet.

The teacher nodded and we smiled at each other.

Reese, James, and I agreed on going to the Mendes household which consists of Reese, her older brother Shawn, and her younger sister Aaliyah. Shawn and I aren't too close. He's normally in his room singing and he's a year older than us.

Me:Hey I'm running late sorry

James:take your time baby

Reese: it's ok what time will you be here?

Me: I think 20 minutes. There is traffic

I sat there and tapped my foot,looking around at nothing but still cars.

Finally, the traffic stopped and I pressed my foot on the gas pedal.
