Episode 2 - House of The Rising Son

Athena P.O.V.

While playing with my new dolls that my Father Klaus gave me, I heard  a woman's voice, saying, "Elijah, if not answering your phone is part of your clever plan to get me back to this god-forsaken city, then well done. I'm here and I'm worried. Now pick up before I kick in your bloody door." Then I heard a door being opened roughly that seems like its going to fall off. And heard her scream and say, "ELIJAH!".

"Who the hell are you?" Hayley asked, as I hear her walking down the stairs and looking at the women downstairs.

"You must be the maid." The woman said, and commanded, "My bags are in the car, get them, will you?"

"Hello?" Hayley said, pointing at herself and added, "Not the maid." Then I heard something drop hard in the wooden floor, and the woman said, "Right. You're that werewolf girl that Elijah's been talking about. I expected you to be more wolfish, but I guess appearances can be deceiving. It's Hayley, isn't it?"

"You have your brother's manners." Hayley said, and the woman added "And temper too. So watch it. Anyways, where's Elijah? And where's the miracle niece that I've heard so much about?" probably looking around from me.

And heard Hayley said, "Well, I don't know where Elijah is, but your miracle niece is playing upstairs. Come down here, Athena" screaming my name and I quickly run down the stairs in human speed and looked down at them seeing a very beautiful woman with curly blonde hair, blue eyes staring at me as I go down and when I was about to ask who she is, when she crouched down at me and smiled softly and said, "I'm Rebekah, your auntie. Now, how about you tell me where is your uncle Elijah?"

I shooked my head with a frown and said, "I don't know, Daddy said that he left." And she look at me with a confused expression and asked, "Left to go where?" And Hayley answered for me and said, "Klaus told her he bailed."

Rebekah just looked at her in confusion and then realizing something,

"Really? Sounds more like Niklaus has done something dastardly and Klaus-like." She said before walking away from us and shouted,

"Klaus? Get out here and tell me what you've done with our brother. You narcissistic, backstabbing wenka"

The Daddy shouted, "Enough with all the shouting. Little sister, I should've known. I assume the six dead vampires were your doing?" he said, to her standing infront of me ad scooping me up in his shoulders, looking at Rebekah with angry eyes.

While Aunt Rebekah just smiled and replied, "They were very rude." And put on a very symphetic face, "Trying to victimize a poor innocent girl just trying to find her way to the quarter. So sorry, were they friends of your's? Oh, that's right, you don't have any friends." With a mocking face said in the end.

Daddy just looked at her with an unamused expression and touch my hair softly, allowing me to put my head to his neck and said, "I do have friends, I've Marcel. You remember him, don't you?" asked aunt Rebekah.

While she just looks at him angrily and said angrily, "Yes, of course you do. He fancies himself the king of the quarter now, and he has these rules about killing vampires. It will be sort of fun to see what sort of punishment he comes up with for you."

Aunt Rebekah looks at him angrily and said, "I don't care about Marcel or his rules, Elijah wouldn't just bail like this. Especially with Athena around now, and you know how he values his family. What did you do to him?"

Daddy just smiled at her and looked at me with a smile and said, "Perhaps he's on holiday. Or taking a long autumn nap upstairs. Well go on, take a look around." After his last sentence he put me down and added, "You remember this house as well as I."

"I remember everything. And I am going to find Elijah." Aunt Rebekah said, confidently at Daddy.

While Daddy just smiled and said, "Suit yourself." Before he whooshed away.

Aunt Rebekah looked at Hayley and said, "You. Wolf girl. Take Athena back upstairs while I search this house inch by inch until I find what my evil brother's done to my good one..." and walked away from us without another word.

Hayley just looked at me and said, "Well let's not make your aunt angry now shall we..." and scooped me up at her arms and bought me upstairs for me to sleep.

A few hours later...

After my morning rest aunt Rebekah told me that we were going somewhere and told me to dress up and took me outside. We are walking at the quarter with many people around, I was wondering where aunt Rebekah is taking me because I'm not allowed to go out of the house or Daddy will be angry with me so I asked, "Where are we going?" as I look up at her.

"To someone who can help us find your Uncle Elijah." She told me before asking, me to be quiet. Then, picks me up before silently whooshing into a closed restaurant.

The girl with the tatto who took me into the cave, who I remember is named, Sophie said nervously, "Hello?" She screamed out, probably hearing aunt Rebekah's whooshing sound running around her restaurant and said, "Seriously Marcel? Trying to scare me? I had nothing to do with the attack on your guys last night."

Again Aunt Rebekah quietly whooshed around and making some pots and pans clink quietly.

I see Sophie walks slowly back over to a wooden table and grabs a knife. Then, Aunt Rebekah quickly run to her and grabs her wrist tightly while still holding me still in her arms with my arms wrapped around her neck and she said, "Sophie Devereaux, My brother Elijah told me about you. Do you know who I am?"

Sophie looks at her nervously and said, "Yes, I know"

"Then you know we need to talk." Aunt Rebekah told her with a smirk on her face.

"So, if I had to guess, knowing Klaus's history, Elijah has a dagger in his chest. It's a magical object, you're a witch. Do a locator spell, locate the dagger, locate Elijah." Aunt Rebekah said to Sophie or more like commanded, while were walking outside as she still carries me.

Sophie said to aunt rebekah with a shake of her head, "I can't use magic, it's punishable by death, Marcel's rules."

"Marcel?" Aunt Rebekah said, with an annoyed and angry expression and added smugly to Sophie, "What do you think I'm going to do to you if you don't give me what I want?"

While Sophie smugly said, "Not much. I've been linked. So anything you do to me, you do to Athena"

And Aunt Rebekah just looked at her annoyingly and said,  "Well, I suppose we can't have that now, can we?" and continued, "How did Marcel get so bloody powerful anyway? He wasn't like this when I left a hundred years ago."
