Baby Boy

 This one takes place right after Marlin loses Coral and has to take care of Nemo in his egg. While going around town he meets a little boy and his mom. What happens after Marlin leaves? Enjoy :)

Marlin took the egg and took the egg with him to bed with him too afraid to leave the egg in the hole he and Coral dug alone. He cuddles with his baby and fell asleep. The next morning it really sunk in what happened and he couldn't help but cry. He felt something rolling around and got up.

"Oh! Sorry Nemo, daddy is going to be okay. I am right here baby boy. I promise." says Marlin.

He scoops up his egg and cuddled it. He carried the egg around all day ignoring the whispers and looks.

"Ignore them Nemo, they don't know what they are talking about. This is going to be your town one day." says Marlin

He swam on with his egg and protected his baby from all ends of the ocean. He even shows the egg where Nemo would be playing before school.

"Hey mister why are you carrying an egg around?" asks a little boy

"He's going to be my baby soon." says Marlin

"Joel! Be nice. I am so sorry" says Joel's mom

"No it is okay, he is just asking a question, I don't mind." says Marlin

The mom nods with a shy smile.

"Oh wow! Is the baby a boy or a girl?" asks Joel

"I won't know until the baby is born. But if the baby is a boy, his name is going to be Nemo." says Marlin

"Nemo? That is a cool name! Um..if your his daddy then where is his mommy?" asks Joel

"Joel!" warns his mom

"It's okay, he is a kid he doesn't know. *to Joel* Well there was an accident and his mommy is gone now, she was killed yesterday." says Marlin

"Oh..." says Joel,

"I am so sorry." says Joel's mom

Marlin can only nod, Joel grabs a flower and lays it on top of the egg.

"Mommy says flowers help people when they are sad. That is for Nemo and you." says Joel

Marlin smiles and gives Joel a pat on the head.

"Thank you Joel. I have to go home now but I am sure that when Nemo is born he will love this flower." says Marlin

Joel beams and lets Marlin goes off. Marlin has to eat so he can be there for Nemo when he is born, Marlin eats keeping an eye on Nemo's egg. He plays with the flower after putting the egg to bed. He smiles and falls asleep, the next day he takes the egg out and Joel found them.

"Its Nemo and his daddy! Hi Nemo!" says Joel

"Hi there Joel." says Marlin

"Can I talk to Nemo for a bit?" asks Joel

"Uh sure." says Marlin

He lets Joel talk to Nemo and even hold the egg reluctently. Marlin even talks to Joel's mom before it was time for Joel to go home. Marlin smiles wishing Joel was younger so that Nemo could get to know him better he knows once its time for Nemo to go to school Joel will already be a teenager and might not remember Nemo. He swims off and relaxes with Nemo. For the next few weeks he never left Nemo's side and a couple times he ran into Joel again, they ended up being friends. The flower was starting to wilt so Joel got him a new flower so Nemo can enjoy the beauty too. One morning Marlin felt movement in the egg he woke up and gasped when he saw the egg hatch. He hugged his baby close. After the excitement he checked to see if the baby is a boy or a girl.

"Hi Nemo, I am your daddy, and look your friend Joel gave you this." says Marlin

He shows Nemo the flower, nemo smiles at the fliwer happily.
