*Doorbell rings*
Lilly got up, checking the time on her phone and heading towards the front door. She opened it and sees Colleen looking down at her phone.
"Hi wifey, you're late again. How are you?" Lilly said, inviting Colleen in.
"I'm so sorry. I have to watch Miranda today to make sure she doesn't get into any trouble..." They both look back at Miranda, who had somehow got her trouser pocket stuck on the door handle and was attempting to wrestle free.
"I know the feeling. My parents have come to stay for the weekend." Lilly sighed.
"HELP ITS TRYING TO KIDNAP ME! WHERE'S MY BODYGUARD??" Miranda screeched. "Now I'm famous I need you with me to keep the fans away." She gestured towards Colleen, who sighed and rolled her eyes. Lilly laughed as Colleen walked over and unhooked her pocket.
"Phew. That was a close one" Miranda said. She ran at Lilly and kissed her. Lilly, confused and shocked, but not annoyed, looked at Colleen as if to say "what the eff just happened?"
"Miranda!" Colleen said.
"I win. I told uncle that I am the best at the kissing game." Miranda said, smugly.
Colleen and Lilly start to discuss their collab ideas, as they walked towards the living room. Miranda, not liking the look of downstairs, wandered up the stairs, unnoticed. She poked around the rooms, trying to find something to do. Miranda heard the shower turn on and went to investigate.
'Who's there?' Miranda said, opening the door to find an empty bedroom. Paramjeet's clothes were folded on the bed and she heard a badly-sung bollywood song coming from the ensuite. Bored, Miranda walked over to the pile of clothes and dressed up in them.
'Now the fans won't know it's me! I'm so clever.' She said to herself, leaving the room. She carried on down the hall.
She got to the end of the hall and expecting it to be empty, pushed the door open and walked in.
She saw a very handsome guy at the other corner of the bedroom, flexing his muscles in the mirror. He had silky, dark hair and was wearing a long grey shirt. Miranda, desperate to win the kissing game, ran over and without a word, kissed him.
"WHA-- Oh... hello" Manjeet said, kissing Miranda again.
"DAD??" Lilly stood in the doorway horrified. "WHY ARE YOU KISSING HER??"
"I'm not allowed to kiss my bloody wife?" Manjeet asked confused.
"Wife?" Miranda puzzled.
"DAD THAT'S NOT YOUR WIFE." Lilly shouted.
"HUH! WHO IS SHE THEN?? WHERE ARE MY GLASSES??"
Colleen appeared behind Lilly.
"I told you I would win the kissing game" Miranda said smugly to Colleen.
"I'm not even going to ask..." Colleen sighed, seeing the lipstick on Manjeets face and leaving the scene.
"I'm just going to... um... check my emails... brush my hair... anything but be here. Bye." Lilly said, following Colleen.
Miranda smiled at Manjeet.
