   We’re sure that most of us knows what Priority Development Assistance Fund(PDAF) is. It is also known as the pork barrel scam. It is the fund for the projects of our government, but it was abolished due to a lot of legislators were abusing and misusing it.  According to the reports, there were eight senators and 23 congressmen were involve in the 10 billion pork barrel scam.  So, what do you think?

   Ombudsman and state lawyers filed a plunder charges against former senator Juan Ponce Enrile, Senator Jinggoy Estrada and Ramon Revilla Jr.  Corresponding to the whistle-blowers, 60 percent of funds were reverted back to the politicians, where in the funds must pay for irrigation facilities, farm to market roads and other projects which never reached the intended beneficiaries. Our lawmakers should serve as models for compliance with the law so Former Senior Government Officials (FSGO) asked President Aquino to form a special committee that would review the PDAF process and recommend safeguards to prevent the misuse of the pork barrel.

   It is about time for the President to cure this kind of disease that destructs the Philippine Government. Punish all the alligators who were responsible for the PDAF scam. President Aquino should throw his full support in this investigation. It will be a big test for him to resolve and to go after the big crooks in the government.
