Erica walks down the stairs of the railroad depot, holding a struggling Jackson. She brings him down the stairs ad Isaac grabs his other arm and they bring him in front of Derek and me. I sit on Derek's left side.

"What happened to you on the night of the full moon?" Derek asks Jackson, holding a piece of glass

"What? Nothing" Jackson says "Nothing happened." Derek looks up at Jackson

"You're lying," I say, Jackson gives me a death glare. Derek sets the piece of glass on his thigh and begins to put on gloves.

"No, wait. No, wait, I can - I can prove it." Jackson says "I taped myself"

Isaac laughs. "Awkward," I say as Derek smiles.

"You taped yourself?" Isaac asks

"Yes," Jackson admits "It was the full moon. And maybe while you were curled in the corner having an existential crisis about turning into a monster, I was preparing for the so-called gift your big, bad Alpha promised me, and what did I get? Nothing. You want proof? Let me get the video"

"No. No, I have a better idea." Derek says and grabs the piece of glass which has Kanima venom on it. showing it to Jackson.

"What is that?" Jackson asks and Erica and Isaac push him onto his knees

"You know, Jackson, you've always been kind of a snake -" Derek starts as Isaac opens Jackson's mouth. "And everyone knows a snake can't be poisoned by its own venom."

Derek then hovers the glass over Jackson's open mouth

Derek then hovers the glass over Jackson's open mouth. The venom drips into Jackson's mouth. He chokes on it for a few seconds and Erica and Isaac let him go. I get up and stand next to Derek, my arm resting on his shoulder. Jackson falls to the ground, paralyzed.

Derek sighs then walks over and crouches down and hovers over Jackson.

"You're still a snake, Jackson, just not the one we're looking for," Derek tells him and stands. He walks away from Jackson and throws the glass down and takes off the gloves. I'm about to follow him into the railroad car when Isaac crouches by Jackson.
