"I think I should drive you home now." Robert says.

I nod in agreement. He grabs my hand and leads me out the diner. He wraps his arm protectively around my shoulder. He looked even more upset than me.

"I'm sorry what happened, I should've done something."

"Robby, relax, I'm ok, calm down."  I touch his cheek gently.

He stares at me for a moment and sighs, pulling me into a hug. I hug him back.

"Better?" I ask when we pull apart.

he breathes out. "yeah." he smiles a bit.

I tickle his sides and he giggles. "There's my favorite smile." I grin.

We both laugh and go to his car. We arrive at my house about twelve minutes later.

"Thanks for the lift, Bobby. see you tomorrow, love you!"

"See ya doll, love you too." he smiles adorably.

I watch as he drives off. I sigh. If only he didn't have to go back.

Ugh it sucks that Robert has to keep working. He's my only friend my age since I'm usually at the diner or library and it's closed. Well, I can always go hang out with my younger brother, he and his friends don't mind me tagging along.

I go inside the house to get a flash light. My parents weren't home from this cocktail party they were at yet. I grab my flashlight and leave. I start walking to the tree house.I walk quickly, not wanting to be walking alone in the dark.

I can hear the radio playing as i approach the hideout and Ironically it was playing "Little Sister" by Elvis Presley. Gordy's friends are really swell boys, despite what everyone says about them. Like Robert and I, they were misfits.

"Daisy, is that you?" I jump at the sudden voice. I Turn to see Chris in front of me.

"Oh, hey Chris, um, I'm sorry, but I wanted to see if I can hang out with you guys."

"Sure you can." he smiles. I grin back.

"Thanks."

"Ladies first." he says.

"Such a gentleman Mr. Chambers." I do a curtsy.

"Always Ma'am" he bows, playing along.

We laugh and climb up the tree.I knock the door.

"Don't tell me you forgot the Password, Chris!" I hear Teddy Duchamp's voice call out.

"It's me Daisy and I don't know the password!" I call back.

The door opens immediately and Teddy's face appears.

"what a wonderful surprise, come on in Daisy." he grins, winking.

I roll my eyes playfully and he helps me up.

"Hey Daisy." My bother and Vern greet me happily.

"Hey guys. Thought I'd drop by for a while."

I sit down next to Gordie and high five him and Vern.

"Hey don't I get a high five?" Teddy pouts, sitting next to me.

I ruffle his hair and humor him. He grins at me. Teddy has the cutest baby face ever, his smile is contagious like a baby's laughter, and when he cries, it'll break your heart into a billion pieces.

"You wanna play cards?" Vern asks. He's the youngest and a bit on the chubby side. He's nothing like his brother, he's one of the sweetest guys I know.

"sure why not?" I shrug.

"awesome, we're playing poker. The stakes are cigarettes, But since you don't smoke, you get chocolate bars instead."

"Haha I like you guys' version of poker." I smile in amusement.

We played a couple of rounds, Each of us had won one game, except for poor Vern.

"I quit! I suck at this game!" He pouts, throwing the cards down, making the boys laugh. I roll my eyes at them and comfort Vern.

"Don't worry Verno, you can have a rematch tomorrow." I put my arm around his shoulder and pinch is cheek.

"It's getting late guys, we better get going home." Gordie sighs. We all nod in agreement. The boys get up and Gordie helps me stand.

"argh, my legs are completely asleep." I complain, stretching them like the boys. Vern goes down first, teddy second, Gordie third, me fourth and Chris last.

"Are you coming back tomorrow?" He asks. It had been a while since I was here, what with school and stuff. But since its summer, I'm free from my usual schedule.

"Yeah, sure." He grins and gets on his bike.

"see ya tomorrow princess." Teddy says.

"Bye Daisy." Vern says on his own bike and I wave to them as they ride off.

Gordie gets on his bike and I sit on the top bar of the handle bars since my mom broke my bike on Accident. Chris rides alongside of us. We ride in silence and I help by shining the lamp in front of the path.

"You gotta be kidding me." Chris says suddenly.

"What?" Gordie and I both ask at the same time.

They stop the bikes. I look over to where they're looking and my eyes wide. It was Ace and the rest of the cobras, and they were  beating up a guy, as usual. Wait....I gasp in shock as I catch a glimpse of all too familiar face.

"Dai-" "It's Dennis!" I scramble out of my position and without even thinking, I run all the way to where those scumbags were.

"LEAVE MY BROTHER ALONE YOU BASTARDS!!!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

Before I can get to my brother, two strong arms wrap around me.

"LET ME GO!" I struggle against the iron grip of the male behind me.

"Ah.ah.ah. I'm the one giving  orders around here." Ace says, standing in front of me.

I look at my poor hurt brother, but Ace blocks my view.

"Please, just stop doing this." I beg, tears streaming down my face.

"Let her go!" Chris and Gordie yell, only to be pushed and pinned to the ground harshly. By other cobra members.

"What do you want from us??? Just leave us alone!" I sob.

Ace grabs my face like had done earlier. He keeps his grip on my jaw as his Ice blue eyes scan my face.

"If I let you all go, I'd like something I return."

"W-we -d-dont have a-anything." I choke out.

Ace looks at the boys. "They don't-" He looks back at me.

"-But you do." His voice was raspier than usual.

"W-what do y-you want?" I ask, truly afraid of his answer. He smirks at me deviously. "You."
