I opened my eyes and heard my alarm clock going off, I turned it off and checked the time. Crap. Late for the first day of school, and it's highschool too.. I hopped out of bed and hurrily put on my uniform. I mumbled to myself, "No time to eat now.. Maybe I can eat on the way.". I quickly grabbed my bag, ran to the kitchen and quickly grabbed an apple from the bowl. "Bye guys!.. Oh wait. They're on holiday. Without me.. Nevermind. Bye anyways!". I continued running, and I bolted out the house, lugging the heavy bag on my back.

Whilst I was running, I began to run in a small alley only big enough to fit one person, with a few gaps on the side. Strangely enough, there was only one person other than me. I checked my watch. I was 15 minutes late, I might miss the assembly.. I started to pick up the pace, and I got closer to the other person. I shouted beforehand, "Sorry about this!". I pushed the man into a side gap. Luckily, it looked like he wasn't a student so I didn't need to worry about meeting that guy later on. Focusing on the task at hand, I had finally reached the entrance. It had seemed that someone was waiting for me. Ah! It was Rea. "Hi Rea! Thanks for waiting for me, hope it's not a bother." "Nah, I don't mind being late. The teachers like me already, they don't care..And I just met them a few minutes ago!" Jokingly, I replied, "Wow, I wonder why."

{Rea's Perspective}

I was walking around the front gate back and forth before the assembly had started - so I could make sure Rosie could make it in time... She was always late to something.. I looked up from my watch, and saw Rosie run up to me.

"Hi Rea! Thanks for waiting for me, hope it's not a bother."  I quickly responded, "Nah, I don't mind being late. The teachers like me already, they don't care..And I just met them a few minutes ago!"  I noticed that she was smiling a bit, then she replied, "Wow, I wonder why." I knew why she said that as a joke.. every teacher I met always praised me, and Rosie knew that.. "Hey, watch it! Anyways, we should get going. The assembly is nearby so we can get there in a few minu- A few seconds before it starts. Let's go!" I dragged Rosie to the assembly hall whilst I ran, we had just made it before they started talking. One of the teachers whispered to us."Girls, please sit. You are too slow. Not to worry though, it is your first day. But I expect better." "Yes sir." As me and Rosie sat down, the new school captain began to speak. "Welcome fellow students, to Angelwood High. My name is Louis, I am one of the new school captains. Do not hesitate to ask any questions if you are lost or need help. As you notice below your feet, there is a map. Your schedule should be in your bag. If not, please head to the office after the assembly. Mr. Harvings, here is the microphone."

The school captain gave the microphone to a man in a navy blue suit, brown hair with a stubble moustache. "Hello everyone! It is a start of a new year, new school. So make it the best year of your life! Enjoy the first day of school. Off to class everyone!" Everyone started to get up, and I noticed that Principal Harvings mumbled something after, but didn't take much note of it. I grabbed the map below me, got my schedule out and walked beside Rosie to class. "So, what's your first class?" I noticed that she stared at my schedule for a few seconds, then her eyes were wide open. "The exact same as yours! Oh my gosh!" "Awesome! Now we can get lost together!" We started to laugh as we walked to class. I looked upstairs on the floor above us to see the classroom of our first class. "Hey, Ro-" Suddenly, I felt someone push me, and two worried exclaims.. And a bit of slapping. Everything went black as soon as I fell on the ground. What happened? More like, who on earth PUSHED ME?
