it was a hot saturday afternoon, and instead of going outside, me and sophia were cuddling inside. the walking dead was on the tv, and we were barely paying attention.

"hey, y/n, look at this!" sophia giggled and showed me her phone. it was a compilation of huskies being, well, huskies. i laughed with her, before i got a notification on my phone. my post on instagram was blowing up with comments. confused, i opened the app.

i saw that sophia had posted a picture of the both of us, finally revealing our relationship. i had told her she could, and she had been really giddy. however, my most recent selfie had fans saying otherwise.

user1: omg she turned our precious sophia into a faggot!!2!
user2: she isn't even that pretty, sophia could do so much better tbh >:(
user3: disappointed but not surprised.
user4: #sophialillisisoverparty
user5: kill yourself, you fat, ugly whore.

i rolled my eyes and put my phone down, hoping sophia didn't notice me being upset. she did, however.

"hey, fellow gay, are you ok?" (sorry i imagine her saying that djssjkd)

i nodded and rested my head on her shoulder, hoping to distract her. she didn't fall for it, and grabbed my phone. she unlocked it with ease to find my post still up, and all the comments still flowing in.

her eyes automatically filled with tears. "y/n.." she whispered. i awkwardly tried to take my phone back, but she held it out of my reach, and continued scrolling through what everyone was saying.

"i'm so sorry, y/n. most of my fans are fucking assholes. you're way better than them. you're so gorgeous, and i love you so much. ignore them, please." she rambled, handing me back my phone. she then pulled out her phone and recorded a quick video of herself crying and ranting over the fans, then shut her phone and mine down completely.

she gently intertwined our fingers and kissed my face everywhere. "ignore them, y/n, you're literally perfect in every way." a light blush dusted my face, and she smiled at me before going back to watching the walking dead.
