"Bye, I'll see you later!" I screamed as I raced out the door, watching for any sign of Alise. Alise is basically my only friend. Scratch that she is my only friend. Even though she forced her way into my life I'm really glad she did. I don't know where I would be without her.
Whipping out my phone I scrolled through the favourites section and found Alise's contact. After just one ring she picks up. "You know it amazes me how quickly you can pick up the phone, even when you know I'm angry because your late."
"Sorry Farrah, I got a bit distracted and missed my turn I'm here now though!"
She hung up.
"You're late, so late that you're going to make me late, and I'm never late. What could have possibly distracted you so much?" I questioned.
"Only the sweetest guy ever!" She squealed.
I sighed "This isn't Zack again right, tell me it's not Zack again. Because he isn't nice, he's the biggest jerk ever."
"And how could you possibly know that, you've never met him!" Alise said her straight blond hair swaying as she reached over to start her car. "Come on Far, he's so cute!"
"Whatever," I decided to leave the subject alone, besides I couldn't knock some sense into her if the world depended on it.
"I want a nick name!" Alise suddenly exclaimed, she obviously wanted to start a conversation before I could start talking about the latest book I had read.
"What, Why, your name is perfectly fine!"
"But you have one!"
"Fine have you got one in mind?"
"No..."
"Great we're here" I nearly jumped out of the car when I realised I was saved from another argument with my best friend.
"Ugh we're here!" was the almost immediate response from Alise. "You do realise we have no classes together right!"
"No with my photographic memory it completely slipped my mind" I scoffed my voice dripping with sarcasm. I often hid my feelings with sarcasm, even Alise didn't know about everything I remembered from my childhood.
