Gwen had finished her day of practice at the WWE performance center and was on her way out the door after saying goodbye to everyone. Gwen got into her car and lend her head back on her seat, she closed her eyes and bit her lip. She was getting really stressed out because her mother kept calling her asking for money. Gwen knew that if she were to ever give her mom so much as a dime that she would go and use it for crack money. Gwen shook those thoughts out of her head and drove out of the parking lot. There was a spot in the city, a river look out, and only the WWE employee's knew about it. It was a bit of a drive to get there but no one really minded because it was so beautiful and calming. Gwen was almost certain that no one else would be there because there were some many people at the performance center today.

Gwen finally got there and got out of her car. She felt the warm breeze flow threw her hair and the sun kiss her skin, she let her hair down and began walking over to the benches to look over at the river. Gwen just sat there thinking, thinking about how much she missed her dad and how messed up her mom was.

Gwen didn't even realize it but she started crying. She sat there crying for hours, just letting it all out, Gwen didn't realize that someone was tapping on her shoulder until that person gave her a full nudge. The nudge spooked Gwen and she whipped her head back to see who was touching her. It was Dean Ambrose, he stood there looking over her with concern in his eyes.

"What are you doing here?" Gwen asked trying to whip away her tears.

"I come here every Thursday after training at the performance center. Why are you crying? What's wrong?" Dean asked coming around the bench and sitting beside Gwen.

"I don't want to talk about it Dean, please." Gwen said covering her face with her hands. Dean put his hand on Gwen's shoulder and moved closer to her.

"Obviously there is something that is bothering you very much. You may not want to talk about it, but you are going to talk about it, you're going to hash it all out right now here with me." Dean said giving Gwen's shoulder a tight squeeze. Gwen looked up at Dean with her blood shot eyes. Gwen knew that Dean was a stubborn man and that there was no chance he was going to let this go.

Gwen calmed herself down as caught her breath. "Okay, here's what's going on." Gwen started.

"Now that I am in the WWE and making money my mom keeps calling as asking for me to give her some." Gwen explained.

"Okay.... Many parents do that, is that why you're crying?" Dean asked.

"Yes! Because I know that the first thing she would do with the money if I ever gave her any would be to go get crack or what ever drug she's on now." Gwen said sobbing.

"Oh.... I see." Dean said with a black expression on his face. "What about your dad? Is he like your mom too, or are they separated?" Dean asked.

"My dad died when I was young, like when I was seven. I had to take care of myself after he died. He was always the one who took care of me and my mom and when he died I lost my only lifeline, because my mother sure as hell didn't care." Gwen said squeezing her fists together. Dean just sat there with his arm over Gwen's shoulder. Gwen continued.

"When my dad died I knew I would have to take care of myself. If I needed something for school I got it, if I need new clothes I got them, if I was sick I took care of myself because everyday my mom would check herself out of her body." Gwen said leaning into Dean to cry on his shoulder.

"Like she's such a bad mom, but she's my mom and I don't know if I could just give up on her or cut her out of my life like that." Gwen confessed.

"So don't then. Don't give up on her, get her help." Dean said stroking Gwen's hair.

"Growing up I was in a similar situation, but I had both parents. Mom was a druggie and dad would beat me every time he got mad or just plain felt like it. I had to take care of myself when I was young too, so I know what you're going though." Dean said.

"It's hard I know, and with my case I had no choice but to cut my parents off at 18 and get the hell out of there. I never looked back and they know that I am in the WWE, they've contacted me asking for money. I told them no and they've never tried to contact me again after that, and that was a few years ago." Dean said.

"You went though it too? I'm sorry." Gwen said. "You think I should get her help? Help her get clean?" Gwen asked looking up at Dean.

"It's worth a try, there might be hope." Dean said whipping the tears from Gwen's face.
