Y/N was sleeping in that not-so-comfy bed in Professor Kirke's manor. Even though it was her second night there, she still not accustomed to it. She spent nearly half of the night tossing and turning around, trying to fall asleep.

When she finally starting to drift away, she heard Lucy shouting,
"Peter! Peter! Wake, up, wake up! Peter, wake up! It's there, it's really there!"

Y/N put on her big fluffy coat and made her way to Peter's room, following Lucy's voice.

Y/N stood near the door, observing what exactly was going on.

Peter let out a muffled groan. He sat up, and yawned, "Lucy, what are you talking about?"

"Narnia!" She exclaimed. "It's in the wardrobe! Like I told you!"

"Oh, you've just been dreaming, Lucy," Susan insisted.

"No, I'm not. I saw Mr Tumnus again and this time, Edmund went too!"

Silence.

The two older Pevensies and Y/N turned around to stare at Edmund .

Peter spoke up first, looking at Edmund, "You saw the faun?"

"Well, Edmund didn't actually go there with me. He..." Lucy paused, turning to look at the younger boy.
"What were you actually doing there, Edmund?"

"I was just playing along," Edmund shrugged nonchalantly, "I'm sorry, Peter. I shouldn't have encouraged her. You know what children are like these days. They just don't know when to stop pretending."

Y/N furrowed her brows, knowing that Edmund was totally lying.

Lucy let out a tiny sob and shoved past everyone. The older Pevensies quickly followed her out of the room, leaving Edmund and Y/N alone.

Y/N walked towards Edmund's bed, sat down and pat the space next to her. Edmund sat down on the bed next to her.

Y/N sighed, "Edmund, you have something on your nose. And I'm sure that isn't something you can find in the kitchen. You really went there, didn't you?You went to Narnia with Lucy."

Edmund looked down, avoiding Y/N's eye. "Yes, I went there. I'm sorry I didn't tell you that earlier, Y/N/N"

"That's okay, as long as you tell me the truth later. But Edmund, what you did back there is just mean. Lucy's your sister and what you did must have broken her heart. You need to apologise to her."

Edmund nodded.

"By the way, Eddy, can you tell me what happened in the wardrobe? Is there really a magical place inside?" Y/N smiled, letting out a yawn.

Edmund stood up and hold her hand, "I'll tell you everything tomorrow morning. Right now you need to sleep, Miss sleepyhead."

"Stay with me, please. I can barely fall asleep last night and I think tonight won't be any different." Y/N asked, rubbing her eyes.

"I afraid you never ask, princess sleepyhead."

Edmund took you to her bed and quickly climb in with you. Tucking yourself in and cuddling with Edmund, you two slowly drifted into a long and peaceful slumber.
