It was dark out, specifically the evening time. Though, it was always hard to tell what time of the day it was in that dark, cold cell. There wasn't any light illuminating anywhere, not even through the dark. Though, Jinx didn't always mind. It gave her time to think of a way to leave, to break free.

For well over 12 years, Jinx has been carefully and strategically planning her escape from this wretched institution that holds her hostage. After 12 long, dreadful years, she will finally be free. No more punishments, torture, or mistreatment. No longer held down by the jacket that's so tight around her that it leaves bruises around her wrists and neck. No more staring into the darkness if this small, torturous room. The room where she can remember so vividly why she'd been put here in the first place, if she wasn't busy planning her escape.

The sound of footsteps began down the hall and carried on until they reached her door. There was the sound of keys jingling, then a click of the door as it unlocked. A faint squeak was heard as the rusted door was opened, and instantly the room was filled with bright lights from the hallways.

"Why'd I get stuck with you?" Mumbled the guard, another jiggle of the keys as he placed them on his belt loop. "Alright, Riyeko, let's go. It's lunch." The man, dressed in an all white uniform with long white hair that reaches his shoulders, took one step into the room and waited for the woman to stand. Suzuki was his name.

Riyeko stands from the floor and quietly walks towards the guard. It was maybe a month or so ago when she finally gained back her permission to eat outside of the cell after her little 'incident' five years ago. It's a good thing, too, because it made her escape easier.

The walk to the eating hall was quiet. The hall was all white, asides from the blue doors that held the most dangerous patients in the institution. They told Riyeko if she continued to do good, they might just move her back onto the normal floors within the next six months. She didn't have six months to wait, though. She needed to leave now, and not a moment later than.

When they finally made it to the eating hall, it was completely empty. It was big enough to fix all of the patients in the building, but they've never done eating arrangements that way. It was way too risky of an idea. If only they did, though, Riyeko could've been long gone.

After receiving her lunch–Curry–Riyeko sat her plate on the nearest empty table. The worker released her from the jacket and sat in the chair across from her.

"You remember what will happen if you're caught using any form of jutsu, correct?" He asks after obnoxiously groaning. "You won't even be able to get away with genjustu because I, as a staff member if this institution, am resistant to it. Blah, blah, blah." He sighed and took a book from his pouch. "You get it. Don't do anything stupid."

Riyeko nodded and proceeded to eat her food. Time went by slow, the room was relatively quiet. The only sound hear was the ticking of the clock. It was agonizing.
