The sun was shining through the glittering stained glass windows, causing fantastical designs, colors, and shapes to flit about the bright and airy room. A cheery fire was crackling merrily behind a copper latticework grate shaped like Helga Hufflepuff, with gold badgers surrounding the piece, the occasional flame shooting between, as if to test it's boundaries.
The deep chocolate brown shag carpet was currently being dug into by a girl's toes, as she made the odd noise while seemingly attempting to become one with a boy she was nuzzling into, her scantily clad breasts rubbing against his arm, threatening to spill out any moment.
Sirius Black was currently sitting in the Hufflepuff common room at the end of his 4th year, long, tan legs propped on a heartwood table, crossed at the ankles. The Hufflepuff girl was draped over him, trailing kisses up and down his neck, as he absently ran his fingers through her long, dirty blond hair.
It just wasn't like it used to be. He had been with nearly every girl in the school, with the obvious exception of Evans and his cousins. Sirius scrunched his nose at the thought alone. Even he drew a line somewhere, unlike his parents.
When had it stopped being fun, where had the thrill gone he wondered as he twirled the random girl's blond hair between his fingers. Probably once he had shagged everyone he was willing to at least once he answered himself.
It was too easy. He barely needed to crook a finger and whichever girl he wanted would fall over herself in her haste to please him. There was no adventure, no thrill in that.
"Siri," the girl who he now realized had moved to straddling him - in a miniskirt, no less - whined obnoxiously. He winced at the pet name.
"You're ignoring me! Siri, aren't you having fun," she said batting her clumpy lashes. "I know that am," she purred.
She must have thought she was being attractive Sirius mused. Admittedly, Sirius did ask if she was up for some "fun," not that she didn't seem eager. What was her name again..? Fey? Farrah - no, wait! Freya!
She was just starting to turn on the waterworks when he said, "Freya, you know that I always enjoy myself with you. Should I show you how much?"
She momentarily blanched, hearing him use her sisters name, before reminding herself that Farrah and Freya were pretty close, and they were twins as well - even if they weren't identical. It didn't matter, she told herself; he's with me, not her. She wondered what Freya would think of that, and stifled a giggle at the thought.
She flushed in pleasure, batting her eyes like she had something in them other than the black goop. Just as she went to answer, the Hufflepuff entrance opened to reveal the Hufflepuff Quidditch team.
Sirius turned to them curiously, causing Fanny or whatever her name was to pout once more, her smeared lipstick ((they had been making out for awhile at this point,) cracking and flaking slightly from the movement,)) watching as Amos talked to some of his friends.
"The poor wee thing was heartbroken, when her mum an' da spouted all that bull about the friendly separation; my cousin's not stupid. I am glad she's visiting, though, she rarely does. We got to spend last summer an' Christmas together at the Manor. Poor wee thing," he repeated, with a shake of his dirty blond waves.
Intrigued, I shoved Fiona off my lap, causing her to land with a muffled oomph. Throwing me a watery glare, she stomped off towards the girl's dorms as she attempted to fix her rumpled outfit while clutching her buttocks, tossing her hair.
"Will she be coming to Hogwarts, then," Alexander, a fellow Hufflepuff Quiditch player and 5th year wondered.
"I hope," Amos, a sixth year Hufflepuff, replied with a warm smile. "She needs a break from her mum and da, especially the mum. She - erm...oh, hi, Sirius," he said. There was suddenly a hard look on his face, his grey eyes hard.
Amos may not be the brightest, but he was certainly strong - he was one of Hufflepuff's beaters, along with his best friend, Alex. I would know, as I play as chaser for Gryffindor myself.
"What are you doing here," asked Alex, one of his mates from the Quidditch team, and fellow beater.
"Probably waiting for a girl - or hiding from a girl," smirked Nikolai, another friend, a smirk tugging at his lips.
Red faced at their accuracy, I pinched my lips together for a moment. "I was just leaving," I finally grunted.
"Good. You do that, now," Amos said, as he eyed me still more warily.
I got up to leave the sunny Hufflepuff common room and headed for the exit at a leisurely pace - just so they knew I was leaving because I wanted to.
"Oh, and Sirius?"
I slowly turned to look at Amos over my shoulder, raising a single brow as I did so. "Yeah?"
"Stay away from my cousin if you know what's good for you." At this I smirked slightly, responses flying through my head faster than the latest broom, faster than a Snitch.
"Mmm, but where would the fun be in that," I said, my smirk growing, before I confidently sauntered off toward the exit and left, chuckling as I did so.
Hogwarts had just become interesting once more.
