"Are you sure you have everything dear," my aunt anxiously asked as she warily eyed my outfit.  I was wearing a black leather miniskirt and a patchwork-style peasant blouse, my blond hair flowing loose.

"Yes auntie," I said patiently.

It often felt like Amos' parents were mine, now more than ever.  They were certainly far better than my parents.  Mind you, that wasn't much of a standard to go by.

"Oh, come here you two," she cried, as she hugged us tightly.

"Ciara love, the train will be leaving soon," Liam said patiently, gesturing to the massive gold and maroon train.

"Oh fine!  Be careful you two!  Oh, and do write, won't you,"  she cried with one last squeeze before finally letting us get some sweet, sweet oxygen.

"Of course we will, auntie," I said with a smile as Amos slouched, embarrassed by his mother as she fussed over us.

"I'll meet you on the train," he muttered as he dragged the two massive trunks behind him, face bright red.  He quickly sped up when he saw a beautiful redhead waving at him.  That must be his girlfriend Lily.

"Thank you both again," I said, giving my aunt and uncle one last hug each before hopping aboard the Hogwarts Express to join my cousin.  I made my way into an empty compartment as they shouted goodbye and waved while the train began to move, aunt Ciara dabbing at her eyes with a silk handkerchief.  I waved back until I could no longer see them.

I turned around with a sigh.

After seeing Amos' gorgeous girlfriend, I was feeling like being a redhead today.  I squeezed my eyes shut and pictured her long auburn waves as I added black and burgundy streaks at the bottom.  I had decided to use my mum's "magical conditioner and mood ring of the soul" that morning.

Taking out the jewel encrusted gold compact mirror my mother had gotten me for my third birthday, I snapped it open and took in my new hairdo.  With a satisfied nod, I snapped the mirror shut and shoved it into my purse as I began to search for my cousin and his friends, exiting the compartment.

I passed a compartment full of excited first years, a couple heatedly making out right outside.  Huffing, I rolled my eyes at their lack of discretion.  The girl was moaning loudly as she rubbed the boy through his pants, causing him to let out a loud groan as he felt her up.  I had no problem with P.D.S., but this was a lot.

"Um, excuse me," I said quietly, just as the girl let out another loud moan as the boy turned them around, grinding against he as he muttered incoherently into her ear.  The first year boys were ogling the couple through the window, the enthusiastic couple oblivious.  Well, I suppose that's one way to learn about the birds and the bees...

"Excuse me," I repeated a little more loudly, unfortunately at the same moment as the girl moaned.  Her shirt had ridden up, and the dark-haired boy was clearly feeling her up, her skirt bunched around her waist.

They continued snogging, the girl letting out a breathy sigh as the boy and the girl began to French kiss, loudly moaning and panting.

"Excuse me," I said louder, gingerly poking the boy in the back to get their attention.

The boy's head whipped around, hair flying around and smacking me in the face.  The boy angrily pulled away from the blond, gray eyes flashing.

"In a minute Lily, I'm busy," he grunted, causing the girl to let out a shrill giggle.  He hadn't even bothered to turn around.

Huffing, I was about to point out that I wasn't Lily and that the firsties were watching them when my cousin and his girlfriend made their way over.

"Vee, I thought I told you to stay away from Black," he said in disappointment, eyeing the bay warily.

"Yeah Beauty," Alex said as he swung an arm around my shoulders, subtly pulling me back towards them.  "Who knows what diseases Black has?  It would probably be easier to list what he doesn't have.  If you wanted a hot guy to look at, I'm available," he added.

"That wasn't nice..."

"Notice how she said that it wasn't nice, not that it wasn't true," Nick snickered.  "And he's right, there much better blokes available," he winked.

"I'm right here," Black hissed as he finally turned around.  His gray eyes widened, as he gave me a weird look.  "And who is this," he purred with a strange smile as he combed his dark waves back.

I looked up at Amos to see what I should do, only to find that his face was turning a bright red, hands clenched at his side.

"I warned you Black," he bit out as he eyed him in disgust.  "This is your last warning: stay away from her."

The boy, who I assumed must be Sirius, eyed me speculatively before replying.  "I don't believe I've had the honor of properly meeting you.  My name is Sirius Black."

I stared at him blankly, clearly unimpressed, causing Amos to relax, especially with Lily rubbing his back soothingly.

He cleared his throat, seemingly slightly flustered before once more perking up, eyes glinting with mischief.  He opened his mouth, only to be interrupted by the busty blond at his side.

"Siri, neither of us finished," she whined as everyone eyed her in disgust.

"Eleanor," Lily shrieked, scandalized.  "That's enough!  There are first year watching.  Have you no shame..?"

The girls brown eyes flashed, nose in the air.  "No need to be so sanctimonious, you prude," she hissed venomously.  "No one asked for your opinion, you filthy mudblood!"

"Don't talk to her like that," Amos said, deathly quiet.  He turned to Sirius.  "Have you no standards at all Black?  I thought that you would at least avoid her kind."

"I..."

"Don't listen to her Lils," I whispered.  "As if anyone should care what either of them think."
